I was surprised he survived, for now. My fiance works under CBBridge on a catwalk w/harness. He has seen a few jump and they haven’t survived. Some miss the water and land on a pier cap. Messy.
Poor doggie.

People have survived jumping off the Golden Gate and Brooklyn Bridges as well. The odds are not good, but if you hit the water just right, you are not killed outright. Then there are the tides and cold to contend with. One woman survived a jump off the Golden Gate Bridge and was successful in killing herself when she jumped off it again a few weeks later.

I never liked german shepherds or pit bulls... I've never met anyone the didn't like German Shepherds. First time for everything I guess. Two very different dogs.
Hopefully the suspect will be charged with the dogs death.
