Thanks to all the Canteen Folks and their continuing support for our kids overseas.

That said; I wish for the extermination of Jihadic lunatics at the hands of all who value human life over theocratic dictatorship.

I pray that whichever Republican candidate makes it isn’t a tool or adjunct of the Democrat Party as this President has been regarding Sovereignty and National Defense. This insults and demeans our service people...and is a huge morale killer. That our Service continues magnificently despite that puts the onus on those holding Administration positions.

4. I will not let the dog hog the pillow, growl at me from the sofa, and snatch the bun from my plate - this year she's going to learn that I'm the Alpha of the house and only I get to do certain things - Owner of untrained dog.

1) Find good organizations to volunteer for with my spare time.

I'd like to volunteer at the Humane Society but that would be too difficult for me. When I see all those adorable little faces with no home, but I'd end up bringing every animal home with me.

2)Read more books in the evenings instead of FReeping .

My top resolution for the year is to take care of my daughter-in-law while her husband (my son) is in Iraq. He leaves in about 30 days. They have no children, so it is just her and her job to occupy her, but I’ve made it my goal, and she has agreed, to teach her how to cook all his favorite things.

On the fun side, I resolve to continue to do things with all 10 of my grandchildren that totally irritate their parents. Staying up late, eating marshmallows by the bucket load, computer games, canasta....the list is too long for this post.

God is good, all the time.
