Sam Nunn is responsible at least. He says we need to be neutral in Pakistani politics and we need to maintain discretion and a low profile there. Sound advice.

In 1975, while running across a post office parking to beat a mail deadline, my pack of cigarettes flew out of my pocket.
Never went back to pick ‘em up.
{And, by now, I doubt if they’re still there!}

As evidence of his bridge building, Dodd says he reached out to Hagel and Specter. Why am I not impressed?

We have had many links over her pointing to the Bhutto family as extremely greedy and quite self servingsame there?
Everyone knows the family was corrupt; but that is the norm here. When you discount that fact, most of the politicians compete from the same start line.

What I read was a student at Oxford, on break at the family’s house in Dubai at the time of the assassination.

Biden wants us to send some of our forensic experts to Pakistan.
He doesn’t trust Musharraf. He wants to tell him what he has to do.
Oh, this is hilarious. Biden says that the night before she died, Bhutto was asking him to call Mushie to allow exit polling so we would all know if the elections were fair.
Now, we all know how reliable exit polling is, don’t we.

After claiming that she was in on everything that happened during the clinton years, why is it that when questioned on particular details, she always claims “I didn’t know”?

In 1975, while running hacking, coughing, and slowly jogging across a post office parking.....There. I fixed it for you.
Congratulations!

Wow. I'm on a DVR delay, so I'm only on the Cohen/Nunn interview now, but.. wow.
Now I'm seeing that Nunn and Cohen are part of Bloomberg's vehicle, Unity '08.
They want to create a "national consensus", but to what end? What position will they take on the key controversial issues of the day? Will they be for victory in Iraq, or retreat? Will they be for aggressively waging the War on Islamic Terrorism, or will they treat it like a law enforcement matter? Are they for maintaining free markets, or do they want to nationalize health care, the largest sector of our economy?
Or perhaps they plan on running without any platform at all, and say that "consensus" is more important than actually solving problems. If you don't have principles worth fighting for, then what do you plan to accomplish? If you don't think your policies are better for the country than the other side's, then what good are you to anyone?
Unity '08. What a joke.

We could send Biden to Guantanamo. Terrorists will speak without water-boarding to avoid Biden-speak.

Thompsons campaign missed the filing in Delaware. I cant vote for him in our Feb. 5th primary. I can write him in but go on....whats more important than getting your guy on the ballot? What's your source on this? So far I haven't seen anything conclusive.

Dodd: I’m a tax-and-spen.. *cough*, I mean I’m a “pay as you go” Democrat.

Dodd doesn’t join the anti-Musharraf chorus at least. On this issue he seems to stand with the Republicans.
