Clinton demands international Bhutto probe

Hillary Clinton Friday called for an independent, international probe into Benazir Bhutto's murder, as turmoil wracking US anti-terror ally Pakistan reshaped debate in the White House race.

The Democratic front-runner weighed into the crisis just six days before first 2008 party nominating contests, as candidates brandished their national security credentials following the ex-Pakistani premier's death.

"I'm calling for a full, independent, international investigation," Clinton said in an interview with CNN.

"I think it's critically important that we get answers and really those are due first and foremost to the people of Pakistan," Clinton said.

The former first lady suggested the probe could be along the lines of the international investigation that followed the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri in 2005.

"I don't think the Pakistani government at this time under President (Pervez) Musharraf has any credibility at all. They have disbanded an independent judiciary, they oppressed a free press.".............."

Re the photo of Rep. Henry Waxman. Now I recall where I saw this picture. It was on the cover of a supermarket “magazine” and concerned the discovery of a “human batboy”.

Since Waxman is a tax-sucking Democrat, it is also possible that he is a blood-sucking batman.

In this case she very much reminds me of the many who proclaimed that the FBI should go to Aruba and take over the Natalee Holloway investigation. No Sovereign Nation is going to permit a foreign police force to take over an investigation within their borders. I fully concur with those who are saying that this incident alone is more than sufficient evidence that she is not ready for prime time and although Vince Foster may have experienced her a number of times (as Hendrix would have put it) she certainly lacks the experience to be the President of the local PTA much less the United States.
