It was the Friday before Christmas; I thought we’d be lucky if the magnificent seven made it again. The city of DC was being deserted as the President had given Federal workers Christmas eve off and state and local governments were following suit. But what to my wondering eyes appeared St. Fraxnious and a hearty crew of patriots.

In no particular order the church group, Beverly, Chastity, Daniel, and Joy Sauder, Matthew and Kathleen Meacham, Loryn Major. Prior to joining us they had visited our heroes at Bethesda Naval Hospital, WRAMC and were going to go by the monuments after standing with us.

We'll be back out at Walter Reed Friday night, December 28th, from 6:30 until at least 9:30 at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Elder Street, NW in Washington, D.C

. The wounded warriors inside the hospital are heartened by the sight of ordinary citizens cheering for them and displaying our thanks for the service and sacrifice they've made on our behalf.

A couple hours this Friday night is very little to give compared to what they've contributed!
