Global Warming Will Save America from the Right...Eventually

Say what you will about the looming catastrophe facing the world as the pace of global heating and polar melting accelerates. There is a silver lining.
Look at a map of the US.
The area that will by completely inundated by the rising oceanand not in a century but in the lifetime of my two catsare the American southeast, including the most populated area of Texas, almost all of Florida, most of Louisiana, and half of Alabama and Mississippi, as well as goodly portions of eastern Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. While the northeast will also see some coastal flooding, its geography is such that that aside from a few projecting sandbars like Long Island and Cape Cod, the land rises fairly quickly to well above sea level. Sure, Boston, New York and Philadelphia will be threatened, but these are geographically confined areas that could lend themselves to protection by Dutch-style dikes. The West Coast too tends to rise rapidly to well above sea level in most places. Only down in Southern California towards the San Diego area is the ground closer to sea level.
So what we see is that huge swaths of conservative America are set to face a biblical deluge in a few more presidential cycles.
Then theres the matter of the Midwest, which climate experts say is likely to face a permanent condition of unprecedented drought, making the place largely unlivable, and certainly unfarmable. The agribusinesses and conservative farmers that have been growing corn and wheat may be able to stretch out this doomsday scenario by deep well drilling, but west of the Mississippi, the vast Ogallala Aquifer that has allowed for such irrigation is already being tapped out. It will not be replaced.
So again, we will see the decline and depopulation...

Yeah. That was my reaction.
“What, Republicans can’t simply MOVE to another area?”
If someone would post a nice big picture of an RV that would be nice

Dave Lindorff is a little ray of sunshine.
Apparently, he didn't get the memo: 400 high level scientists dispute Al Gore's global warming * story *
But what do you expect from a Columbia-educated, former NYT reporter... sigh

This is one of the funniest articles I have ever read. And I thought that my daughter was a drama queen. We need to start a drama queen award, at the end of every year vote for the years biggest drama queen of that year. For this year I think it should be this guy. WOW.

It should be considered acceptable, in this stifling new world, to say, Shut up. We told you this would happen. What will happen? Even your most ardent supporters are deserting your "cause" faster than rats on the Titanic.
Your "computer models" can't predict the weather beyond 3-5 days, yet they are the gospel for 50-100 year predictions. (The Farmer's Almanac is more accurate.)
Your entire "religion" of global warming is based on the assumption this has never happened before, and it's hotter now than it ever has been, both of which have been proven wrong (again).
It's the Right that's going to save America, if only long enough for the Loons to be proven wrong (again).

ACTUALLY, the approach of the next ice age will save America from the lunatic left. We are in an interglacial period and based on prior geological evidence, we are approaching the average termation time for an interglacial period.
A large wall of ice will come down from the north and freeze the shorts off this idiot and his fellow libs in the northeast.
Unfortunately glaciers never reached California.

Wrong! what this retard doesnt get is that the (Soo-Called) rising tide will wipe out all the Populated citys along ALL of the Coastline, meaning the Most Liberal ones...Los Angeles and Sanfrancisco will be drowned...leaving California in the Hands of Conservatives and likewise Florida, and New York..... Agreed. This author is not only looney, he doesn't really understand geography.
Also, he seems to be saying that dispossessed Libs in the Northeast won't really suffer much because they won't have to move too far to find higher ground. If you are dispossessed of your land, does it really matter whether you are displaced 10 miles or 500 miles in the age of the automobile? Not much. You are still dispossessed.

FReeper "potlatch" provided the dancing "algore.gif" that I 'Ted Turnerized' to "algreen.gif"
The "TIMES.gif" was a 2-framed animared .gif that I swiped last week from FReeper "Lancey Howrad" from a FR thread post
"TweetyTiny.gif" is a modified Warner's Brothers animated cartoon .gif
The "Penquin.gif" is a 45 frame .gif that FReeper "potlatch" sent me to add a bit more zip to the penquin image that previously was on my last version "alglobal.gif" V 3.2 .gif
"MoneySm.gif" is a resized version of another animation created by FReeper "potlatch"
The only things so far I have not added is algore's old Gulfstream executive jet and and his Lincoln SUV he was caught driving about 85mph a few years ago and his huge Tennessee mansion where algore manages to use well over 20 times the energy of a large American family home
When the crooked tax-exempt foundation algore uses to launder his 100K+ speaking fees and his hidden offshore and foreign accounts are exposed his 100 million dollar it will become apparent why he pays well under half the income tax rate that you little peons pay to to the IRS/US Treasury every year
I don't actually "create" many graphics - I sorta just SuperGlue together old and new images and use attempt to add a bit of humor that might convey an informative true and memorable message better than a few million words can

No, global warmingism will eventually teach Americans that the Left are political opportunists who will stoop to creating their own opportunities to destroy the very American economy that gives them their academic grants.

Dream on, D.S.. The seas are rising more slowly than they have been for the last 10,000 years. With the rapid cooling that will occur over the next 50 years, the sea level will begin to fall and the Republicans will continue to kick your leftist butts.
