Decisions, decisions. Keep Zoey 101 on the air, even though series lead Jamie Lynn Spears is now the poster girl for teenage pregnancy, or pull one of cable's most popular youth-targeted series as a PR tactic? Nickelodeon thus far is opting for Plan A and sticking with its schedule to broadcast the remainder of Zoey 101's fourth and final season, which had wrapped production in September, says the Reporter.............."

I agree with your post. This may open a few teen eyes as to what usually happens when you drop trou for your homie.
I haven’t watched TMZ, but I can imagine. What a revolting enterprise.
Thanks. It’s a revolting development.
If the episodes have already been shot pre-pregnancy, I don’t see what not airing them would accomplish.
I agree. The child will not be murdered, and that at least is a very good outcome.
Her Mom should be arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
I disagree. Renew the show for another season, with Zoey pregnant and giving birth and struggling to cope. This is what the education experts call a "teachable moment."
That’s what I was thinking. At least this will present the girl as pro-life. She can speak out against underage teen sex, and spin it in a positive pro-life way, and that abortion is not the answer.
That might actually be a good idea for a 9-month reality show: pain, bloating, water retention, vomiting, stretch marks. Show the kiddies what really happens during a teen pregnancy.
Oddly, I am just happy she’s not having an abortion.
I am confident that would have happened only a few years back, and we’d never have been the wiser, so this is progress of a kind.
All that would do is put her out as a role model to her young fans who would sympathize and possibly emulate her.
“The actress needs to learn to keep her legs together. But to her credit, she didn’t kill her baby.”
Yep.
I agree. She sure isn’t a role model.
Not @ all, the their (her/his) daunting (their/the babys' needs) responsibilities, the (her/his) families disappointment(s), her giving birth (pain), where's Daddy (is he workin'), changing "yellow" diapers (smell), the (lost -/+) $$$$....the opportunities of a "mis-spent" yout...(none)....and then talk of the joy(s) of family life.
We are getting outbred by Muslims and illegals in our own country and we are going to censure and disapprove when a young, healthy American girl gets pregnant?!
No wonder we are fast becoming a minority in our own country--I see the problem....
Blow that sentiment right out your ass.
What the Spears sisters lack in vocal and acting talent they make up for with tabloid filling antics...and we keep watching/reading.
During Britney’s initial breakdown (I have posted here before that Brit was in the throes of post partum depression after baby one and that her mental health further deteriorated with pregnancy two—along heavy alcohol and recreational drug use) it became known that Jamie Spears (Brit and JL’s dad) mother (the grandmother of the two girls) took her own life (due to the death of her newborn son). Jamie Spears was 8 when this happened. There seems to be a family pattern here. Starting with Britney, the family needs help...they have the means but don’t recognize there is any problem.
As for JL, has all attention always been focused on Britney (even now that she has this Zoey show, are Brits ‘troubles’ overshadowing still?) Is this JL’s attention grab? Who really knows, but these folks need to get out of the spotlight and do what is best for their children and grandchildren.
