Decisions, decisions. Keep Zoey 101 on the air, even though series lead Jamie Lynn Spears is now the poster girl for teenage pregnancy, or pull one of cable's most popular youth-targeted series as a PR tactic? Nickelodeon thus far is opting for Plan A and sticking with its schedule to broadcast the remainder of Zoey 101's fourth and final season, which had wrapped production in September, says the Reporter.............."

this family WILL hit a bottom and it cannot happen soon enough...........Then, after they can fix their ills
that is my prayer........
Wonder what ‘the Dad’s’ reaction has been to the older sister’s shennanigans...?
Nick will fire her ass!
And both the Spears girls need to go home to LA and start their lives over.
I wonder if she has a morals clause in her contract...?
I read that Nickelodeon is going to do an entire special on her pregnancy.
If she could sit down and explain to kids how this is going to screw up her young life, it might be worth it. What I expect is some venue that will garner her thousands of gifts and millions of kudos, at the expense of our female youth.
I’m with you, and don’t limit the shutdown to this misguided dingbat. The whole entertainment mania needs to go right now!
Entertainment tonight? Gone! Every other knock-off? Gone!
Let’s have some decent role models for a change.
Disney would have kicked her to the curb already. Nick will keep her for the publicity.
As Bob Grant says, "it's sick out there and getting sicker!"
The show should be gone... but don’t count on Nick to do it...
Nick is simply a station to prime the pump for the next generation of MTV sluts....
I’m still waiting for Nick’s Pre-Teen Spring Break.. its only amatter of time before Nambla folks will be setting their TIVO’s for this.
The actress needs to learn to keep her legs together. But to her credit, she didn't kill her baby.
Kids make mistakes that fall short of the ideality. I’m getting really annoyed morons who want to call her a slut and kick her to the curb and the liberals who want to exploit this to further their twisted agenda.
“What I expect is some venue that will garner her thousands of gifts and millions of kudos, at the expense of our female youth.”
I agree, and will bet Nick will go the same way Disney went with her sister. Exploit her all the way until she crumbles, as long as they make a buck.
“If she could sit down and explain to kids how this is going to screw up her young life, it might be worth it.”
The sad fact may be, it’s the baby who will suffer, not this very young lady. She is in show-biz and has resources. Her situation in no way mirrors what the typical teenage mother faces. It would be misleading for her to become their role model,,,their worlds are so different!
I watched two or three minutes of that execrable piece of cultural driftwood known as TMZ.com a few weeks ago.
It makes ET seem like the Hunter-Brinkley Report.
Agreed, which is only part of the reason I no longer respect Disney at all. I won’t purchase their products.
Pessimist. But you're right.
I'm thinking that she'll show up on Oprah... "Here we have Jamie S. (name withheld to protect identity). She's a SINGLE MOOOO-oooom!!! from the backwoods of Louisiana. She's making it on her own after a difficult teenage pregnancy. Let's GIVE IT UP FOR HER!!!!" Woo-HOO!!
Then the two of them can sit on the couch and have a nice cry together. "It's just...so....so...HARD being a Mom, Oprah.... Especially when it's not even my fault!"
Then Oprah can give her a car, hook her up with a book deal, and everyone goes away happy.
Watch and see.
And MTV would make a reality series based on out-slutting an older sister
Grant is right and it is not just middle aged crankiness talking. Those 'Great Society' values are coming back to bite us. Look at Spears parents. The girls never had a chance, either of them.
I won’t disagree with that completely, but this is something that is happening to a girl a lot of other girls look up to. It is important how this turns, whether either of us like it or not.
