Over the last decade, former President Bill Clinton has raised more than $500 million for his foundation, allowing him to build a glass-and-steel presidential library in Little Rock, Ark., and burnish his image as an impresario of global philanthropy. The foundation has closely guarded the identities of its donors including one who gave $31.3 million last year.
Now, the secrecy surrounding the William J. Clinton Foundation has become a campaign issue as Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton seeks the Democratic presidential nomination with her husband as a prime source of strategy and star power. Some of her rivals argue that donors could use presidential foundations to circumvent campaign finance laws intended to limit political influence.
Mr. Clinton himself echoed those concerns this fall when he pledged to make public future donors if Mrs. Clinton was elected president. While disclosure is not legally required, failure to do so, Mr. Clinton said, would raise all these questions about whether people would try to win favor with her by giving money to me.

The New York Times has compiled the first comprehensive list of 97 donors who gave or pledged a total of $69 million for the Clinton presidential library in the final years of the Clinton administration. The examination found that while some $1 million contributors were longtime Clinton friends, others were seeking policy changes from the administration. Two pledged $1 million each while they or their companies were under investigation by the Justice Department.
Other donations came from supporters who had been ensnared in campaign finance scandals surrounding Mr. Clintons 1996 re-election campaign.
In raising record sums for her campaign, Mrs. Clinton has tapped many of the foundations donors. At least two dozen have become Hillraisers, each bundling $100,000 or more for her presidential bid. ...

And prefers a much friendler leftie named Obama....?
“mediots” — I love that. :’)
Why stop there? Talk is cheap. Hillary ought to just keep on talking and use the power of public relations to get the price of oil down to $40 a barrel.
OMG! A Rogue’s Gallery of creepy donors.
OMG! A Rogue’s Gallery of creepy donors.
Clinton Liebrary.....Clinton LAUNDROMAT!
Clinton Liebrary/LAUNDROMAT!
That IS better.
One can only imagine the good these two could have done if they had raised money for a legit charities like the Salvation Army.
When stuff like this hits the fans, I remember Rush’s comments about the Clintons and there are no accidential exposure of them in the liebral media.
They seem to own the Media....

The Hillary We All Know
*********************EXCERPT********************
Hillary Clinton just launched her new site The Hillary I Know, designed to humanize her to draw down her high negatives, amid much fanfare. On the same servers, ABC News discovered a few other websites that Hillary plans to launch. She has set up domains for websites designed to attack Barack Obama and to claim that they attacked her first:
ABC News has learned that the campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., has registered the names of two websites with the express goal of attacking her chief rival, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, the first time this election cycle a presidential campaign has launched a website with the express purpose of criticizing a rival."Votingpresent.com" and "Votingpresent.org" are domains hosted by the same IP address as official Clinton websites, such as TheHillaryIKnow.com website, which was launched with much fanfare this week.
The Clinton campaign intends to use these new websites to paint Obama as cowardly. ...
Clinton's campaign has also introduced, quietly, a website called Attacktimeline.com, which Clinton officials say chronicles the ways Obama and former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., were criticizing her publicly long before she began returning fire.
How Clintonian! Attacking opponents for attacking her while attacking them. James Carville once said, "It's hard for someone to hit you when you have your fist in their face." It's even harder to attack one's opponents while shooting one's self in the foot -- repeatedly.
Hillary has the highest negatives of any serious contender on both sides of this race. Criticism of "present" votes certainly makes sense, but setting up an entire website for it goes beyond Carvillian. And trying to garner sympathy for being a front-runner is not only futile, it makes her look thin-skinned and petulant.
Who's advising this campaign, anyway? A more competent staff would have figured out how to work the criticism into the campaign without turning it into an apparent obsession, and without the poor-me companion website.
James Carville once said, "It's hard for someone to hit you when you have your fist in their face."I hated him in "The Hills Have Eyes".
Victimhood don’t play like it use to..
Bill should’ve just stayed in Harlem and blown his horn and Hil finished out her term and then take a hiatus.. a nice long hiatus. It’s not like they don’t have the money.
