It shows what a strong nation our Founding Fathers created. Considering all the attempts by the political class to destroy it, America is still here. But eventually they will destroy our nation, and open borders is one of the lethal weapons.
All you have to do is type in two numbers as response. You should ask yourself that question. You like Romney... fine. Elucidate your objections to my opinion so that I can respond.
I love the way Duncan Hunter gives direct answers and does not tap dance. We need him now. I like the way he takes on the Chicoms and puts America first.

It was a comment that I thought was relative considering the thread. I had no intention of personally offending you with it. I’m not apologizing, but clarification seems to be a necessary address.

I would like to offer some constructive criticism of Duncan Hunter.
He needed to reiterate that he is running for president and, if elected, he would build the border fence in 6 MONTHS.
He also needs to up the ante. Duncan Hunter should state that he is the ONLY CANDIDATE that will secure the border. He needs to tell the American people that until the fence is built he will deploy federal troops on the border to stop the flow of illegal immigrants, drug smugglers, and potential terrorists.
If hope someone on FR can get this message to the Hunter Campaign, I think it would help.
I agree with you, completely. He needs some grooming and he is so 180 degrees opposite of these shameless panderers he does himself a real disservice by not “tooting his own horn” far more than he does. He missed an opportunity there. I might add to your ideas that he needed to use “American people” in nearly every sentence. When Americans hear “American people” they pay attention. I suppose I wanted to hear, “This is an outrage, and I know the American people will not stand for it and I want the American people to know, I will not stand for it either.”
Then he could go on to state that 9000 American citizens are killed each year by those in this country illegally and contrast that number with those who were murdered by death-cult scum on 9-11. The attack that saw us go to war in 2 countries, which war, I supported and still do. My son served 2 tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Also Glenn as you know when the Democrats started all this “bring the troops home” business I introduced a bill that said, “let’s bring all the troops home now”. I voted against my own bill but I forced the Democrats to put their money where their mouth is, and as you know the bill didn’t pass and that shut them up a while. But my point is Glenn, “When do you we go to war over these 9000 innocent lives that are taken each year?” The least we can do is what the law and our constitution demands and protect American citizens, and this is what I have done. Also, he can’t hammer the point home enough that when he got the fence built in SD, how the various crimes were drastically reduced.

I would like to invite you to consider voting for Hunter based in the primary. I do not ask this based on his organization or his poll numbers, I ask that you consider what is best for your loved ones, your country and your self.
I am only asking that you consider this for the primary. In the General election I have every confidence that you will vote for the GOP candidate.
