A light earthquake occurred at 4:14:09 AM (PST) on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. The magnitude 4.0 event occurred 11 km (7 miles) SSW of town of Big Bear Lake, CA. The hypocentral depth is 7 km ( 4 miles).

Mag 4 is not considered newsworthy. We had a 7 with multiple tsunami warnings and nobody felt that either.
