Russian President Vladimir Putin Named Time's 'Person of the Year'

NEW YORK — Russian President Vladimir Putin was named the Time magazine "Person of the Year."

Richard Stengel, Time's managing editor, said the 2007 honor went to the Russian leader "for an extraordinary feat of leadership in taking a country that was in chaos and bringing it stability."

Others in the running for the honor included Nobel Prize-winner Al Gore and author J.K. Rowling

I think the media has gotten the message, even here in the US. A commentator on some major network who said putin would kill anyone who spoke out against him was shot in the groin within 24 hours of his comments.

So illiterate to call Putin a “comminist”. You just mistake yourself at first.

Putin is the Russian nationalist so he is the natural enemy of any comminists (or Liberals) who at turn are INTERnationalists.

Putin cares the best ways for Russia ONLY. He cares not neiter US’ interests nor of any other country whatsoever. It is the nationalistic way.
