Urgent: Three Anti-Gun Bills Heading to New Jersey Senate! |
Monday, December 17, 2007 |
Please Contact Your State Senator Today! On Monday, December 17, the New Jersey Senate Law and Public Safety and Veterans Affairs Committee passed three bills that will have serious consequences for the Garden States law-abiding gun owners. |
Thanks for the link.
I think you need to drag your representatives out into the street and start hanging them from trees.
This is NJ. Land of the Torricelli/Lautenberg switcheroo. Land of the Governor wasting time and money on love interests while homeland security goes to pot. Land of the train station named after the politician in jail for Abscam. Land of the Supreme Court legislating from the bench even while the dissent says not to. Land of politicians able to hold multiple offices and get multiple pensions even after Chris Cristie puts them in jail by the dozens for corruption; I think one guy held 11 offices at once. Land of more school districts than there are towns/cities. Be realistic.
How about mandatory sentencing for corrupt NJ officials and bureaucrats? Gawd how I hate this state (not the people, the gummint here...)
NJ banning guns & amunition...at least when you shoot one of the NJ lib/dem legislators...one does not have to worry about the death penalty!!!!!
what dopes!!!!
Godbye NJ.
Goodbye NJ.
Yesterday they get rid of the death penalty, today they take away the guns.
Boy the criminals are going to "LOVE NJ, PERFECT TOGETHER."
>>>>S2431, sponsored by State Senators John Girgenti (D-35) and Paul Sarlo (D-36), is an overly broad attempt to address gang violence that could have unintended consequences for honest gun owners. Among other things, it would criminalize and severely punish the mere possession of certain firearms, including registered handguns, even while engaged in lawful activities.
Is this one saying owning a gun is illegal?
How is New Jersey exempt from the restrictions on government in the Bill of Rights?
The people of New Jersey elected them, at least theoretically.
What do you mean, “elected?” They stole the elections fair and square! “New Jersey, come for the taxes, stay for the corruption.”
This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same).
It further makes it unlawful for two or more persons to go in disguise on the highway or on the premises of another with the intent to prevent or hinder his/her free exercise or enjoyment of any rights so secured.
Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to ten years, or both; and if death results, or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years, or for life, or may be sentenced to death.
This statute makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the U.S.
This law further prohibits a person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation or custom to willfully subject or cause to be subjected any person to different punishments, pains, or penalties, than those prescribed for punishment of citizens on account of such person being an alien or by reason of his/her color or race.
Acts under "color of any law" include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within the bounds or limits of their lawful authority, but also acts done without and beyond the bounds of their lawful authority; provided that, in order for unlawful acts of any official to be done under "color of any law," the unlawful acts must be done while such official is purporting or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. This definition includes, in addition to law enforcement officials, individuals such as Mayors, Council persons, Judges, Nursing Home Proprietors, Security Guards, etc., persons who are bound by laws, statutes ordinances, or customs.
Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to one year, or both, and if bodily injury results or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire shall be fined or imprisoned up to ten years or both, and if death results, or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Bump for the few patriots still left in Nazi Jersey.
