Look, just give me an argument, or even just a statement about my beliefs. I haven’t seen one from you, yet. You’ve merely called me a moron based on the fact that I disagree with you? I haven’t even called anybody here a moron yet. The funny thing is, you will also not find Ron Paul bashing anybody else, either. He puts his views out there for people to accept or deny. It’s your choice what to do with it. You haven’t even begun to argue.

Well then if there is a single soldier in Iraq that believes that we aren’t winning, then the universe must explode or something, huh? How about you do a quick google search to find out if a single soldier believes that we aren’t winning. Or you can just dismiss their opinions because they differ from yours. So, I’ll check out actual arguments as to why we’re winning. Until I see a convincing one, I’ll hang out on my side.

In case you have not noticed, Al Zawahiri (or however he spells his infamous name) is threatening Sunni militia leaders and Shiite militia leaders alike with death (usual grisly details) if they have the continued nerve to ally themselves with the US against Al Qaeda, Look forward to the discovery of Dr. Al Zawahiri's corpse in a bombed out building in 2008.
The US is a great nation. It has great responsibilities and one of them is crushing lawless Islamic militancy. You may not like it. Putin does not like it. Red China does not like it. Ahmanutjob does not like it although it appears that he is now shutting off the flow of arms through Iran to Al Qaeda. PaleoPaulie certainly does not like it. That changes nothing and he and the paleos are irrelevant. The responsibility is still ours and those who oppose the mission of American troops in the field in wartime, oppose the troops and oppose our nation and give aid and comfort to our enemies in time of war.
If you are tempted to tell me that paleoPaulie served in the Air Force, don't bother. George McGovern bombed Trieste back to the stone age as a pilot in the Army Air Corps and that did not make him one whit more patriotic and just meant that he wanted to bomb that particular enemy. PaleoPaulie was a military doctor and never flew a plane in anger or trained to do so.
The campaign of Dr Demento highlights the many ways in which libertoonianism and conservatism are not compatible. Libertoonians will NOT inherit the GOP or the nation now or ever. If you don't believe me, just wait for 2008's primary and caucus results. That is particularly true if the Demonrat contest is close and does not allow the Demonrat antiwar trash to invade GOP primaries in an attempt to soften the blow to their paleopals.
Not that I feel strongly about any of this. Just sayin'.
A few of the Paul supporters are pretty decent but the others are making you look bad. I am trying not to lump all of you with them. I'll need a scorecard or something.

I did check that out, but the pictures were blocked (because I’m at work). I’m not sure why pictures would show that we’re winning, anyways. Like I said in another response, just because one person (or even several) believe something doesn’t make it true. But that seems to be a fundamental flaw in most conservatives I’ve known—they believe something because they either admire somebody else who believes it or they were told to believe it.

No. I expect assertions to be backed up by evidence other than hearsay in a public forum. You asserted that Ron Paul is backed by "fascists" and that you would refuse to support him for this single reason. Not only have you failed to deliver or operate with a sound definition of fascist, you've failed to present sound evidence that Ron Paul is receiving support from fascists; people who by definition would be opposed to Ron Paul's ideas regarding individual freedom and accountability.
My expectations may not be particularly high, as I would think backing one's views, and sound definitions, to be part of a discussion regarding these matters. But my expectations are obviously higher than yours, since you expect only "silliness." If it's only silliness you expect, then you might look to other threads and forums.
Oh, it is unlikely that Paul is going to win, but it is going to be fun watching how the GOP tries to rally its support for the candidate that does win.
I am going to enjoy waiting for those posts by the anti-Ron Paul zealots urging the Republicans to rally around the winner!

You're talking about the guy who just ripped Bush's foreign policy. Even Paul never said we had to "reach out" to our enemies.
I haven't seen the whole interview, but from the fuller quote that was posted, Paul is talking about how when tyranny comes, people are often deceived by wolves in sheep's clothing.
The bible talks about this, and btw, the bible also talks about how the devil himself can masquerade as an angel of light. (click) If discussing that idea is insane, I guess the bible is also insane.
As far as this interview goes, the one thing I will criticize Paul on is - he evidently should have dumbed down what he was saying, or spelled it out like he was speaking to a 10 year old - for the people who are all too eager to (willfully) misunderstand him, in order to use it as ammunition against him.
