Although elderly she was in good health at the time she wrote it. She died three years later. Of course I always think of her every time I put that ornament on the tree and it always brings a tear to my eye.

This is my tree. It usually ends up being red, white & blue. Sometimes it is just Blue & white... This year, red, white & blue.
