FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Former Sen. George Mitchell, D-Maine, author of a report on performance-enhancing drugs in baseball; Reps. Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., and Jane Harman, D-Calif.; Ted Leonsis, owner of the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn., and Edwards.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C.; former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Edwards; Sens. Joe Biden, D-Del., Kit Bond, R-Mo., and Evan Bayh, D-Ind.
Yes indeed we have, snugs, much to our dismay.
I am 47 and still get zits LOL
I have often thought that the blue-collar democrats will go for Edwards, and it might be enough to get him the nomination if the other votes are split between Hillary and Obama.
I agree Thompson is not doing himself any favours by refusing invites on those shows in particular OReily has been asking for a long time.
Both Huckabee and Thompson have much better chances than Hunter because of name ID and (in the case of Huckabee) executive office experience.
It is virtually impossible for a Congressman to be elected to the presidency, these days.
Baseball I deduce is the same as soccer to the Brits many men and women cannot function without their daily dose.
We already have a guest worker program for agricultural workers [H2A visa]. I don’t know how any good public policy can be made without having the data on how many illegals are here. In 1986 the USG estimated that one million would apply for amnesty, the number turned out to be three million. Now the USG is estimating 12 to 13 million. Imagine if they off by a factor of three again.
Pretty good analysis actually.
ANd as we discussed last week,my number remains 38 million.
There was a time when Jimmy Carter had “charisma”!
Andrew Young. It was a funny interview really. And he probably spoke the truth.
Hi, snugs!
I was passionate for Dubya and I’m passionate for Fred.
When I send money, you KNOW I’m passionate.
We’ll just have to see what happens.
Some people are waiting for Fred to win before they support him.
That’s not how it works, people. Support him and THEN he will win.
There was a time when Jummy had charisma??
I don’t remember that time. I always despised him.
Cook those mince pies for me and I’ll agree with you about anything ...
maybe not Fred! lol
It is always heartbreaking to lose them, but not as bad as never having had them in the first place. They really are part of the family, and faithful guardians of hearth and home.
Me too, but back in ‘76 his corn pone style was charismatic enough to get him elected.
The larger point I’m making is that charisma is assigned after results are measured.
I agree with your wife :o)
All the way up to 16 today. Don’t care I am Atlanta bound.
