FACE THE NATION (CBS): Former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn., and Edwards.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C.; former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Edwards; Sens. Joe Biden, D-Del., Kit Bond, R-Mo., and Evan Bayh, D-Ind.
HA, I turned it over to CNN, the first time I have turned it to that channel since the last debate, and for some reason my cable is messed up on that channel. I can hear it, but I can’t view it!
I have Charter Cable in western Michigan, if this was any other channel I would call and complain, but with CNN blocked, I can deal with that! Early Christmas present I guess.
Um, how ‘bout 1.5% name ID?
Also, as despicable as Russert was, it was his first shot at Mitt. Romney hasn’t been on MTP until today.
Well, as Rush would say, he (Fred) is what he is. He’s not going dance and he’s not gonna prance.
He is going to remain calm, focused, a man with a plan and a leader.
If that turns you off, then I just hope you are in the minority.
Implying he had any to lose?

it just seems to me like his heart isnt in it to be President. he was asked on FTN why he was running for President, and he couldnt give a good answer.....thats not good.
That’s cause the First Lady doesn’t feel cheated by being a Woman like those feminists.
Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops
Romney did not respond the way I would have liked on illegal immigration. I favor attrition through enforcment. Romney seems to be saying that the illegal aliens can stay as long as they register. He says that they must go home to apply for citizenship, but by allowing them to stay and work here puts them at the front of the line. Romney is trying to have it both ways.
“Then give your man, Thompson an ENERGY DRINK or something !! He does not look like a man who wants IT !!”
I’m sure you realize how important this election is.
Are you sure youre thinking about whats important in a candidate?
Thompson’s answer on immigration today wasn’t that impressive either.
“Im sure you realize how important this election is.

i think there is a clear prerequisite for running for the Presidency: you have to want to be President!!!!
if that isnt important then what is?
>> Democrats rejected Edwards in 2004, why would they want him now?
Because Mr. Experience-Gravitas-Elder Statesman-Windsurfer-Nuance-Vietnam didn’t work out so well.
Democrats are often arrested development cases, too; who will vote for a teen idol if they are offered one.
This time there’s no Dean to compete with Edwards for the arrested development contingent. There’s no Clark to pull away wins that would been Edwards’ rather than Kerry’s. There’s no Kerry with the advantages above (plus the loaded wife). There’s only a rabid chipmunk and a poor young black child from the madrassa.
Oh yeah, and there’s no incumbent running, with Dick Cheney at his side. :)
Thanks for the thread - looks as if I have a lot of catching up to do.
Have been getting the Christmas up first time for about 5 years so I had a real fight with it as it was buried under a lot of junk well good junk LOL.
