Reminds me of Nixon's "Checkers Speech":
And, now, finally, I know that you wonder whether or not I am going to stay on the Republican ticket or resign.
Let me say this: I don't believe that I ought to quit because I'm not a quitter.

"I not only disapproved but it did not reflect the campaign that I'm running," Clinton said.Translation: It was my idea and it backfired.

I have always intended to go all the way through this process, all the way through the Feb. 5 states," said Clinton when asked during an interview on Iowa Public Television whether her campaign could withstand a loss in Iowa. "Every single place that there's going to be a caucus or an election between now and Feb. 5, I'm going to contend in."
As usual she didn't answer the question.
Let us analyze the Hill Psycho Lying Machine.
She was asked a "yes" or "no" question and didn't say yes or no.
She mentioned a date, February 5, that wasn't mentioned in the question.
What that tells me is that February 5 is now the critical date for her campaign and she is trying to figure out if she can survive past that date.
What you expect her to say is "we are fighting in every state all the way to the convention" but she didn't say that.
Her internal numbers and focus groups around the country must be stunningly negative.
It sounds like it is all over except for the final act where she runs off the stage screaming hysterically.

I want to see Hillary start calling Obama names. I don't think she'll be able to control herself if her campaign continues to nosedive and that she will have a conniption fit, in public, within the next three months.

Where is Mia T? Can’t say I always liked scrolling through evey inch of her posts but with her passionate hatred of all things Hillary I would have thought she would be posting day and night during the run up to the primarys.

I don’t think she will go with that much class. I would expect a profanity laced diatribe directed at the vast rightwing conspiracy, the biased media, and the American people in general.

She’s with the Wide Awakes now. It may have been during the Giuliani purge, but I don’t remember.

She was banned. I can’t remember why, but it may have been due to supporting rooty. Can anyone confirm?

Wonder where she's been?
It appears that she was banned/suspended sometime ago, don't know the particulars, but it would be best for everyone here if she and JimRob could resolve their differences. I hope she didn't burn any bridges. Everything I saw of hers was outstanding, but clearly I never saw what caused the crunch.

She is just channeling Richard "I'm not a quitter" Nixon.
I saw a bit of a recent interview of her on TV and something about her appearance, maybe because of the way she was facing the camera, looked Nixonian.
To: InvisibleChurch
FWIW, I hereby release Hillary!08 from her vow to not quit.

"I have always intended to go all the way through this process, all the way through the Feb. 5 states," said Clinton when asked during an interview on Iowa Public Television whether her campaign could withstand a loss in Iowa. "Every single place that there's going to be a caucus or an election between now and Feb. 5, I'm going to contend in."I like how "all the way through" sounds like till the end of the primary season but then she quickly qualifies with Feb. 5 states. Granted with all the frontloading dates of the primaries I guess most of the delegates will have been divied out by then.
Still it is amazing to think that in six weeks Hillary could feasibly be out of the race. At a minimum she will have to contend with Obama delegates if she was to actually win.
