Among the statements made by the teacher:
What part of the country has the highest murder rate? The South. What part of the country has the highest rape rate? The South. What part of the country has the highest … church attendance? The South. Oh, wait a minute. You mean there is not a correlation between these things … You know, you go down to Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, all these states that are as red as they could possibly be, as right-wing Republican as you could possibly be. When you first present these people with the economic policies of the Democratic party, they are all Democrats. Virtually all the social programs, they like. They lead the Democratic party on social issues. That's it. Social issues, can you imagine what they're saying on Rush Limbaugh now? About, 'Middle school people in New England giving people birth control pills. My God. What next?' I love Rush Limbaugh. A fat, pain in the a—liar. And, boy, is he a liar. Unbelievable."

Hmmmm..and I always thought it was the big...LIBERAL..cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angels that had the highest crime. Stoopid me!!
Someone should ask the "teacher" what the skin color of the vast majority of the perpetrators of those murders and rapes (usually with victims of the same skin color). It might be a revelation to him/her.

Hmmm, the last time I looked at a map, NYC, Boston, Philly, Chicago and Detroit are in the North...Oh it was a public school teacher, that explains it. never seen a map before!
I’ve never heard such drivel, none of those statements are factual except maybe the church attendance. And then this moron tries to draw a correlation between church attendance and murder,rape and crime. Some one should tell this guy that church is what these perps do to get out of jail.
What might be a better question is .. what party governs the cities with the highest murder rate. HMMMM???
What place in America can you NOT take a gun to defend you? Classroom. How many classrooms, students and churches have been attacked in the whole world in the last few years? LOTS of them, why? Because they are gun free zones.
Teachers need to STFU about politics and stick to teaching reading, writing and arithmetic....
Further, Louisiana certainly has a very strong democrat party, which often controls the state.
Finally, the murder rate in Blue Pennsylvania's Blue Philadelphia is a national scandal, and Blue NJ's murder rate is climbing as the 7th fastest in the nation.
I don’t think there is any questions about that, but then you get into racial and cultural issues, and those are taboo.

This is not the point of the teachers rant. Besides, this difference is very small and may not be statistically significant, meaning, it is a random event. DC once had the highest rate in the country and much of this has to do with numbers in law enforcement. Most of the top murder rate cities are in the north.
Tolerance for everybody except for Christians, Southerners, and Limbaugh it would seem.
I feel safe in saying that a blue/red map (like the county breakdown in the last election) would have most rapes & murders in solidly blue areas.
