If ever there was an illustration of how an armed citizen can make a difference, it is the case of Jeanne Assam, the brave woman who took out the killer at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs. And yet . . .
On today's Morning Joe, Mika -- in newsreader mode -- dutifully reported the incident. But when Joe Scarborough sought to draw the obvious implication, Mika put her anti-gun foot down.

I think it's more about deep deep denial. Like a very traumatic event occurring...your mind says this can't be happening when it really is. To a liberal, the thought of a regular citizen defending themselves or others is too enormous to comprehend.

Then let me: Spawn of Jimmah Carter's National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, a man who gave Nicaragua to the Sandinistas, Iran to the ayatollahs, and the Panama Canal to druglord Manuel Noreiga. He also sucked up to the old Soviet Union, emboldening them to make trouble in Afghanistan (where we're still paying the price of having to build up islammofascists to fight the Soviets), while simultaneously flipping the bird to Free China (also known as Taiwan). Our military was gutted under this man, and Reagan had to increase the national debt to arm up for the final defeat of the old Soviet evil empire.
There's probably not a man alive today who did more to f*** up this country, and any issue of his has got to be as evil as Hillary herself.
I will celebrate the day when her father dies just as much as I will when Carter shuffles off the stage.
