COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
Prayers for those who have passed on, and those who are injured. Also prayers for the 2 young people killed earlier in the day in Arvada...
Have there been any names released yet? (I have many friends/acquaintances in Colorado Springs from when I lived in Denver, but I don’t know if any of them attend this church or not...).
I hope people take to heart the fact that if it were not for the armed security guard many more probably would have lost their lives in this tragedy. I’m very glad this church took the security of their members seriously...

OTOH, the Holy Spirit most likely would compell/convict one of the brother/sisters who hold CCW - several who do - to "carry" on the arbitrary day that a "maniac" may have issue with either doctrine and/or Elder leadership. To do so during the Lord's Supper would require some massive "conviction" though.
That is sort of a peculiar thing though ...
Truth! My church has about 125 devout memembers including me ... we know each other ... we give to better the church and the good it does in our community ... not for redemption! IDIOT!

I just received an email from a friend who called her close prophetic Christian sister—who’hs 2 kids or son and spouse or some such
have moved to the Colo Church last incident to help with restoration after Haggard left—they are both with YWAM.
The word on the phone call was that they are convinced that the Arvada shooting and the latest one are linked somehow and that the police believe they know the motive.
Nothing more at this time.

Exactly. What worries me is the rest of the world putting pressure on us to give up our constitutional rights, because it seems everytime something like this happens, that’s the kind of stuff we hear.
