[I waited 45 seconds and actually posted something substantial--Ed.]
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
Now we have to watch out for nutcases and terrorists anywhere and everywhere...so sad....
I wouldn’t know; I haven’t been able to post much at all, or even lurk on FR, every darned day for the past several months.
I am not a religious person at all.
Can we get some HUMINT on this story?
Front lobby in which city?
I think he said semi-auto.
I understand..there are a few people on FR who prefer to not use slang etc.. I figure as long as message gets across it doesn’t matter. In this case, it would have been helpful to know in advance...because it did briefly interrupt communication. Which I wouldn’t have analyzed had you not mentioned it. Good points made!
Not a word on what type of car,,,or second shooter...
If it's really an AR-15 rather than an M-16, which look just alike until you get really close, then expect the nature of the victims to be discounted, but the nature of the weapon to be highlighted, trumpeted and otherwise blared about.
They've got a new Ugly Gun ban bill just waiting in committee for incidents like this and the Omaha mall shootings. Actually several bils. HR 1022, would ban far more arms than the original. H.R. 1859 would ban regular capacity magazines, and transfer of any Assault weapon, as previously defined, equiped with one. H.R. 256 would ban possession of handguns and S.A.W by those under 21, (exception for military and police of course). S 2237 is a big omibus crime bill, which contains both and AW ban (appears to be like the '94 version) and a strengthening of the Brady Check system to require checks at gun shows, regardless of the seller. HR 4128 appears to be a complete rewrite of the federal criminal code, lots of bad stuff could be lurking in there. Sponsor is Rep Sensenbrenner, F. James, Jr. (R-WI-5), so maybe not.
That and other fields. Every field has short cut language.
Colo Spgs.
It is also a Church.
Whew - sorry for the bad typing before. I’ll restate my point. Flares do not an IED make. Obviously for an IED to qualify as a real improvised explosive device, it must actually be “explosive” and flares are not. Hope I’m clear now.
I just can’t believe how all these moonbats are coming out of their caves and going on shooting sprees - there are malls, schools, churches - anywhere people are gathered - I guess if I have to go, church is a good place to be, but I’m really starting to think my bible teacher is right about us being very close to the last days.....
you must have really been frustrated with every news article and every thread posted here about the war against terrorism.
Depends on how many ISR assets are available.
If it was a .223Rem round, I’d say that’s a well founded guess.
To reporters, everything more powerful than a rubber band is an “automatic weapon”.
Geeze, tlj. Didn’t you get your nappie today?
Nothing like coming into a thread and cutting down the posters.
So this shooter may have more than one gun???
If he was hit by a shot gun but thought he saw an assault rifle, too??
Not according to the clip I saw. Maybe it was something else. Wouldn't be the first time media screwed up. And I said I have seen nothing else to confirm what that person was.
" And American losers have been killing folks (usually ex-girlfriends, etc, but sometimes random) for a long time now."
As far as YOU know, which is only what media tells you. There are a lot of ROP honor killngs that are passed off as "crazy American losers" killing their girlfriends ( or daughters, wives). Rarely are their religious backgrounds mentioned.
