COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
It was by a bus, but, IIRC, the buss was parked on a driveway sort of affair, not in a large parking lot. I recall that the bench and walkway were across the driveway from the stadium.
Terms may not be exactly correct.
I personally tend to define courtesy as an

It might have to do with the possibility of this not being a lone individual....different news outlets keep reporting on another person arrested. They had the place locked down for over 5 hours, and put a lot of effort into searching the neighborhood, long after "the perp" was dead.

My sister made the mistake of voicing her conservative opinion at one of the top masters programs in the country. The profs blackballed her and failed her, despite the fact that her work was just as good as other students’. Her fellow students recognized exactly what happened, and adopted my sister’s name as code for “Professional bias.” Higher education my arse.
1st shooting...12:30 a.m. missionary school, Arvada. 20-ish man in black goes in and starts shooting. 2 young people dead. some injured. guy gets away.
2nd shooting: 70 miles south and 12 hours later. At New Life megachurch in Co. Springs. Perp plants bombs around...said seen throwing objects out of car up against buildings. He gets out and starts shooting in p[arking lot. Female volunteer security guard shoots and kills him. But he has already killed one, and seriously wounded 4 others. He fits vague description of perp in Avada. Cops are comparing notes.
Church under lockdown and bomb squad is doing its thing now.
Next time some evil doer thinks churches are all gonna be an easy target, this may make them think twice.

The bench was on a walkway in front of a large classroom building. The walkway connected from the Oval, a circular drive where the bus was parked, through the commons area between two buildings, over to the stadium, a little ways away.
It was closer to the bus area than to the stadium, though.

That makes me even more nervous! I have been reading lately that there are “Columbine Fan Clubs” on the internet, where admirers of those two evil ones discuss and plan like incidents. The boy who shot up the school in Sweden belonged to one of these, and was in discussions with the boy from PA. who was caught before his plans panned out.
Very very scary.

Yikes! That says the gunman was already INSIDE the church’s foyer when he started shooting. And the nursery school was just letting out nearby!
God bless that sharpshooting woman, whoever she is! She saved untold numbers of lives today.
