I have a sneaky suspicion that Oprah and Hillary couldn’t walk in the same space,,Oprah is a major league diva and she dislikes white people. Hillary hates other women, she uses them but demeans them and talks down to them. These two couldn’t coexist on the same side. I think that moved Oprah to go to Obama.

Sure - it’s taking the spotlight off Hillary, but then Hillary has Barbarba Streisand.

Oprah is currently the most powerful woman in America. Millions of lemmings hang on her every word. What has Streisand accomplished lately? Hillary's head must be spinning 360, spewing green pea soup!

We need a President with clarity and conviction.”

Via the Constitution, he can't serve another term as POTUS. ; (

I agree. He’s unscripted and just kind of babbling.

Note, that the audience was pumped up, emotional and filled with shrieking younger women. She began by giving a transcendental approach to Obama's candidacy.

Patriotism appealed to. Also antiwar appealed to. New vision thing. Oprah claimed she voted for Pubbies as often as she voted for RATS.

Constant talk about new bold plans, and several slogans I have not heard before--"DREAM AMERICA NEW AGAIN" was one such slogan. The general tenor of this slogan as most of the claims reminded me of Harold Hill in Music Manwhere he indicated he had a "think system" for teaching music that did not require actual training or reading of music.

Had surprising harsh comments for schools, lack of health insurance and so forth. Most of real cheering was over Barak's opposition to Iraq War. She added to this, we are estranged from other nations, etc.

Fox took her off before she finished but one of her last comments, again a transcental approach, was Barak would temper our religious, economic and racial differences.

The above are my brief recollections of Oprah's speech. I was impressed with the emotionalism of this large crowd and suspect it augurs poorly for the Clinton campaign. As for the rest, as I said earlier, this is the Harold Hill approach (think and it happens) system to politics. Stupid but sells emotionally because that is what people want to hear.

“I’ll get you, my pretty! You and you little bitch-dog Obama, too!” -Hillary Clinton

“Oprah and Hillary couldn’t walk in the same space”

Sad that the entire Democrat Nomination process could likely come down to “WHO WOULD OPRAH DO”, isn’t it?

It doesn’t say much about the average Democrat Voter...

Obama saying it is “embarrassing” that genealogy charts showed he was related to Dick Cheney.

Talk about no class.

Dick Cheney would never have said that. If anything he’d make a good-natured quip, but certainly wouldn’t say it was “embarrassing.”

I hope that Obama gets the party nomination.

If he does at least the worst case scenario in a POTUS will be a RINO.

He’s unscripted and just kind of babbling.

For about the first 5 minutes, Obama kept thanking/sucking up to Oprah. I thought he was going to bow before her.

Sometimes his microphone malfunctions. Could there be a Hillary mole at that event? ;)

The only way Hillary wins is through vote fraud, and she has the money and organization to pull it off. The only way Obama wins is...he doesn’t.

Now if the Pubbies would just pull their heads out of their backsides long enough to nominate a conservative.
