David Huckabee, 26, the son of former Gov. Mike Huckabee, was arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly attempting to board an airplane with a handgun at Little Rock National Airport.
After being released from the Pulaski County Jail, Huckabee called the incident "a silly mistake" and said "it shouldn't" affect his father's presidential campaign.
According to the police report, the gun was a Glock and had a clip in it. Huckabee was asked if he knew what was in the bag, and “he replied he did now.” The report says he told authorities that he forgot the gun was in the bag.
Huckabee was arrested for carrying a weapon in a prohibited place at about 6 a.m.

I honestly don’t know if he does or not, I rarely go to campaign websites.
Just was a little surprised to hear that. How involved a candidate’s family is in their campaign is a personal choice, but seemed odd he would have no mention of his child on his site. Especially given the campaign being run and demographic he’s appealing to.

Why does the media continue to insist on using the word "clip" when the correct term is MAGAZINE? When is the last time a commonly used weapon had a clip, the M1 Garand in WWII?

Mike has made a small fortune with his weight loss book. And it wasn't so difficult for him to lose weight because he had a fantastic Mansion cook to prepare his yummy fat free meals..
He's preaching to the Nation about weight loss, so yes, his family IS fair game, IMHO.

That said ... let's be honest. How many here don't have somebody in their family of that age who's about that emotionally screwed up? I don't support Huckabee AT ALL, but this is not something I'd put into the evidence list "against him." This is just ... what happens when people raise kids in a free society in 21st century America. It's a tough world.
