If the 2008 Republican presidential caucus were being held today between (names rotated) Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, Alan Keyes, John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo, and Fred Thompson, for whom would you vote?
Would you say that you definitely plan to participate in the 2008 Republican presidential caucus, that you might participate in the 2008 Republican presidential caucus, or that you will probably not particiapte in the 2008 Republican presidential caucus?
While Huckabee went from 2% to 23%
while Giuliani dropped from 31% to 17%.
A vote for Huckabee is a vote for Giuliani NOT.
But a vote for Huckabee is a vote for Hillary
Huckabee 08!

** Pro Big Government!
** Supports International Carbon Credit Trading!
Maybe he'll have all the rest whitewashing the fence by the end of the month.
It is astounding that more Conservatives don't realize that truth. Huck would be a big disaster for the Republicans. Either Conservatives who will vote aren't paying that much attention, or they are being fooled by the MSM into supporting the ultra left Huckster. I pray people discover the real Huck. Heck, if Huck is the nominee, Hillary wont have to steal votes or even hardly campaign to win. It would be an outright joke.
I thought NV was a libertarian stronghold, free from the blandishments of the warmongering religious right, natural Paul country.
I thought he drew of crowd of thousands hanging on his every word there just a month ago.
Conspiracy?
Rudy is damaged goods. It’s probably going to be Mitt.
I have no idea what is making his numbers go up, but the more I hear him and about him the less I like him.
Or those supporting Huckabee are social conservatives rallying around the only candidate strong on social issues.
What way is the Huckster addresses social issues in the context of a Constitutional Republic. Government is foremost an instrument of force. Our government was establish to preserve our right, not to be a socialist welfare state. Our Founders would be utterly appalled at the extent of government intrusion into our daily lives. Nothing at all in Huck's actual record indicates that he would respect our Constitution. He would use our tax money as a way to force his "ideas" upon the land. He would not first look to the Constitution for guidance. He would look only to his liberal ego to play God with our Destiny. When real conservatives who believe in limited government get a clear view of Huck, he will fall. Then Liberty and Freedom can breath a sigh of relief
RINO, RINO, RINO, RINO
“a vote for Huckabee is a vote for Hillary...”
Quick. Somebody tell Rasmussen he’s wrong, since the Rasmussen poll shows Huck the only GOP candidate leading Hillary in Arkansas, while Rudy and Romney trail her by double digits.
Quick, tell Zogby too, since their poll shows Huck with a 5-pt lead over Hillary nationally, the biggest margin over Hillary of any GOP candidate.
Yep, Mike Huckabee seems to be splitting the pro-illegal alien vote from Rudy Giuliani. With Giuliani, illegal aliens only receive sanctuary and free education through high school for their children. With Huckabee, they can provide their children with a college education as a reward for breaking our immigration laws.
Bill
Huckster is a media-hyped, over-produced JOKE
The majority of Paul's supporters are newcomers and independents who DID NOT vote in the 2004 election. Hence, they're not polled.
But if Huckster wants to chase after a dwindling Republican base that'll be split up among 7 other candidates, hey, go for it.
The problem is that other than, maybe, Fred Thompson, there isn't anything resembling a Reagan-like candidate that has a chance of winning in the race that believes in limited government. And, Fred has alienated social conservatives.
Without a Reagan-like candidate, voters are stuck with flawed candidates. And, in such a race, social conservatives may well go with a candidate that is strong on issues like abortion, traditional marriage, abstinence education, etc.
