Absolutely brutal YouTube video regarding Mike Huckabee's advocating for the release of convicted rapist Wayne DuMond who went on to rape again and murder.
National Review has the full story behind all this.
What actually happened between Huckabee and the board remains unclear to this day
No it doesn't, all the details and witness accounts are at the link below:
Dumond case revisited: A reminder of Huckabee's role in his freedom
This is worse than Willy Horton. Horton was released as part of a general policy. Huck actually reviewed this guys case personally and intervened on his behalf.
Willie Horton was a convicted murderer who was out on “weekend furlough” when he did his raping. Dukakis refused to apologize to the victim. Has Huckabee every apologized, either?
If not, he will, with the same sincerity as the repentance at a Sunday night altar call.
Nice. It should be very popular.
I mean, they know, but they don’t know.
He doesn’t acknowledge his direct role which as been well documented from what I have read and understand.
How can he if he won't take responsibility? Someone posted a transcript of a press conference he did on the issue in which he blamed it all on Democratic governors and Clinton appointees (whom he reappointed!).
How on earth did he spike in the polls? This should surely destroy his chances as it did Dukakis vs. Bush 1.
Voter ignorance and an impressive performance in the YouTube debate. But with all these skeletons in his closet I don’t see how it’ll last.
Maybe he thought a castrated male wouldn’t rape again.
Ironic, isn’t it. Even after committing rape against Juanita Broaderick, most lefties/DemocRats would STILL vote for Bill Clinton for President.....
even while denouncing Huckabee for merely, as a Christian, being FOR the release and rehabilitation of a convicted felon/rapist. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
One question comes to mind, however. If DuMond was castrated by unknown assailants, how the hell was he capable of committing sexual assault?
Arkansas clemencies outpace other states (Huckabee Conservatism) |

Huckabee's hundreds of clemencies compare with neighboring states, get ready for a shocker. Huckabee leads the pack. He has issued more commutations and pardons than all of the six neighboring states combined. Governors seldom reduce sentences in other states and almost never for murderers serving life without parole or for rapists or for habitual drunk drivers, while in Arkansas it's a regular habit with Huckabee. Other governors use their clemency power only rarely, while Huckabee has made it routine. As we've told you before, he has issued more than 700 pardons and commutations during... |
He made one of those "I'm sorry this happened" but said he had NO involvement in this guy's release and had nothing to personally apologise for.
Just plain meanness, I'd guess. You don't necessarily need a body part to sexually assault somebody.
That is what I had been wondering. Did he shine in the last debate? He did OK I guess, better than Rudy and Mitt, but he did not do well enough to move up in the polls by much. Fred did better in the debate, and received nice comments from Rush Limbaugh for appearing to be the only conservative in the bunch, and besides the spike was happening between the debates. So what was it? I feel it was all media driven. The man they wanted to be front runner, the one man they knew Hillary could beat. Tax-Hike Mike.
Yep...my thoughts too.
