France is rapidly aproaching the point where there will be two choices- surrender to the Jihad or very aggressive use of the Army. France is, indeed, at the brink of civil war or of extinction as a European society. If organized, a controlled gradual escalation may be deliberate. Boil the frog slowly and he doesn’t realize what’s happening until it’s too late. Slow escalation is important to the perpetrators for two reasons: desensitizing the targets, and attract enough supporters & participants that when it gets _serious_ there are simply too many involved at once to apprehend individually.
