"What I find most troubling is that possible student absences may lead to missed opportunities for them to learn and that this lost time may not be recaptured," he said."Additionally, there may be fiscal consequences to school districts for funds lost due to student absences," he threatened.
The latter reason is what it's all about.

Our public schools are now under the rule of child molesters and other forms of perverts. They violate and molest our children, emotionally, socially, mentally, sexually, and in growing numbers, physically.

I live in California and have a kid that will start school next September. We will be able to meet the teachers every semester throughout our kids schooling. I want my kid to go to a public school. I would appreciate it if you fellow Freepers could help me develop a questionnaire that I would hand out to the teachers.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles. This is becoming a fairly high volume list. T

Parents in California have started reacting to the state's newly mandated homosexual indoctrination program by pulling their children out of classes
That's exactly what the parents in Seattle should have done when the school district issued the "Thanksgiving is a time of mourning" proclamation.
If we do not fight back, the loony left will just continue with their "hate America" campaign.

It’s about time. Sending children to public school is prima facie and ipso facto child abuse.

This is phase I indoctrination. Phase II includes the rest of the “gay lifestyle” yet hiding in the closet that tells children it is a good thing to let homos have sex with them.

The public school system has been completely taken over by radical leftists. It is corrupt.

I’m adding a special prayer to my list for this ministry as well as for all the families in California who are considering homeschooling their children.
Perhaps this will be the much needed wake-up call to the State(s) that mandating these things to appease the LGBT community will NOT be looked kindly upon by the majority of citizens in our country... What remains unfortunate is that they are only concerned about this due to the fact that the school districts will lose the federal (and state) tax dollars they depend upon.
It’s also too bad it took such a radical law to open the eyes of these parents, but I’m glad they are beginning to see the light nonetheless...

The straw that breaks the camel’s back? Don’t ignore the entire bales of straw already on the government school’s camel’s back.

Glad to hear people are waking up to what's going on in government schools today.
I was talking with a friend about government schools and he didn't think they were all that bad. He said, and I'm not kidding:
" I don't think schools are all that bad. I mean, my kids are getting A's and B's. "
Apparently he didn't understand anything we were talking about.
