The next time you hear the MSM defending itself against charges of a lack of balance by pointing to Pat Buchanan's presence on its panels, remember his statement above. On globalization, Pat echoes the Seattle street protesters, seasoned with some John Edwards "Two Americas" rhetoric about Wall Street fat cats. On foreign policy, Pat sounds like someone auditioning for Secretary of Peace in Pres. Kucinich's cabinet.

Corporate America is America. It is real, not some pipedream.
You won’t ignore me again? Is that what you meant, my intellectually-challenged friend?
And you're never going to get a perfect "balance" that would satisfy everyone.
If you've got two or three Democrats and Buchanan, he's not "balance."
But there's no way a show like that is going to be balanced anyway.
If you have a host, a Democrat, a Republican, and Pat, you could argue that the show is more or less balanced.
If the Republican and the Democrat and the host are all for NAFTA or amnesty for illegals, it's hard to see how the show could ever make a pretence of being "balanced" without someone like Buchanan being on.
