The Talk Shows
Sunday, December 2nd, 2007
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Karl Rove, former adviser to President Bush; Rep. Chris Van Hollen, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee; Fred Smith, chairman and chief executive of FedEx Corp.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; David Axelrod, strategist for Barack Obama's presidential campaign; Howard Wolfson, communications director for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.; musician Steven Van Zandt, founder of the Rock and Roll Forever Foundation.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas; Sens. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., Carl Levin, D-Mich., and Arlen Specter, R-Pa.; Lt. Gen. Raymond Odierno, commander of Multinational Corps in Iraq.
Ron Paul says we are going to stay in Iraq to take their oil. He also says there was no al-Qaida in Iraq before the invasion.
Why are there so many stupid, lying people in our government?
Oprah’s viewers don’t vote.
Because he’s too busy running around trying to convince everyone that despite the fact he plays from the Libertarian party playbook...he’s the only REAL Republican running.
But you’re right...that 61% Liberal voting record and the love he gets from the ACLU make you wonder why he doesn’t just give in to the Dark Side.
LOL. Ron Paul is a hoot. He thinks we are an empire.
Remember Pat Paulson?
And felonious. It is my opinion that Hillary's hostage taker was nothing more than an elaborate plant. My take on the Royal scam is found here..
Night - try lamb chops on the grill they are great.
Its a shame true war heroes (and in Webb's case former Sec. Navy) will sell out their former beliefs just to get political gain but that's obvious what is going on with webb.
He parsed every comment so fine that it was unclear which side he was on with most issues while fat time kept underhanded soft ball after soft ball his way.
Webb tries his best to run as a Reagan Republican in the dem/rat party but that's getting thin if you check his voting record and then hear him try and justify not supporting funding for the troops in Iraq.
He has turned in the consummate bureaucrat willing to do most anything for political gain.
At this point he owes his very existence to the worst of the worst, Piglosi, Dingy boy and Hillary.
Being obligated to that gang is like being a bag man for the mob, one false step and you are in the shi____ forever.
His lies are ever so slick and the fact that his win was ever so razor thin shows that many in VA. have his number. But the party loyalists rats (talk about mind numbed robots) carried that day for yet another good guy turned loser.
The sad thing in webb's case is that he sold himself out. He had a good track record as a war hero in Nam and then as Sec Navy under the Gipper but gave it all up for political gain and a shot at the bigger offices. Very much like McCain, sad lot both. If he was only a philanderer he could probably be President.
Remember when Oprah slandered beef and the Texas cattlemen all sued her for libel?
“It has stopped me cold from eating another burger!”
Sure, she got off, but not without having to move her show to Amarillo for a month.
Don’t worry...a Ronobot will come along shortly to tell us what we herd him say is NOT what we REALLY heard him say.
Much in the same way they still try to convince us that he didn’t blame 9/11 on the U.S.
Stupid voters put them here.
Is there still any doubt by anybody here where the Huckster fits in with all of this?
People like Oprah. From people I know who have had personal contact with her, she is demanding, self centered and not the nice person she looks like on tv but still, she is warm at least.
Hello, Bahbah! Happy beginning of Advent! I usually hate working Sundays, but it has its good points; I wouldnt have a TV or sanity left after a segment with the Clowntonista (misspelling intentional) Wolfson..
I agree with you about the Fedex CEO. When I heard Mike announcing this guest I had to scratch my head. Although Meet the Press sometimes has silly guests...this concept of a CEO of a company being some kind of leader for us, the people who carry this country on our backs, is stupid. I hate it when Donald Trump gets interviewed using the same logic. I think Donald Trump is an idiot and that mine own fine brains greatly exceed his not to mention my much better hairstyle. So why would I think the CEO of FEDEX should be pontificating to me? I want to hear the elected leaders...silly me.
Plus, don’t forget, Karl Cameron was it? ...who announced for all the world a WRONG name for the hostage-taker at Hill’s headquarters. Then good ole Karl goes and get some friends of the wrong guy he just assumed that kid was right- possibly a Hillary plant but I wear a tin foil hat here- was right about the identity...so Karl finds more people who know the fake guy. They all get on and tell the world about this poor Troy somebody who everyone in America now knows is a bit nuts, lives in the woods and is hated by his wife.
I am so glad that Hill plant didn’t say that yeah...he knows who it is...it’s Pat Fish!
I mean can anybody just get on TV and announce a lie and oops, my bad?
Anyway...I’m wondering if Fox is going over the dark edge.
Apparently there are some people out there that a military isn’t complete unless you make your sexual preferences public knowledge.
If you have to put your sexual desires ahead of your service to your country, chances are you have no place in the military as it is.

More likely don't want to....
.
They see him as the lesser of several evils and with Hillary's negatives at 50%, absent a miracle it's going to be president Rudy if the DBM has anything to do about it.
