"requires the permanent removal of any wolf linked to three livestock killings a year ..."

let a wolf get linked to one killing and see what happens to it. ;)

I love animals... Can’t help it... I want the wolves to succeed.

The wolf reintroduction program requires the permanent removal of any wolf linked to three livestock killings a year ...

I'd like to know the interpretation of permanent removal. Does that mean from the face of the earth, or over to the next county where they can chow down on stock from a new ranch until another year passes and they are again ID-ed and targeted for permanent removal.

I have long supported the reintroduction of wolves. I think that we need large numbers of them in places like Boston, New York and LA. Those are the sort of places where Sierra Club et al get so much of their money to push this sort of agenda so I say, let them have wolves in their own back yards.

I drove through western N.M. 10 days ago on way to Las Vegas. Saw a wolf in a field smelling something dead. Impressive but a little frightening.
Also two years ago one was killed at the entrance to my rural neighborhood in South East Florida. Western St. Lucie County.

Relocate the wolves to Taos or Boulder.

I use to hunt elk with a bow in the Gila Wilderness in NM, never saw any wolves but there were plenty of coyotes (didn't see them as much as we heard them) We would see mountain lion on rare occassions and there were many black bear and turkeys.

I use to fly into Silver City, what an airport. As I recall it was about 20 miles from town and you better have arrangements made to be picked up.

The hunting experience was well worth the time and money, 26 miles back in the Wilderness with no modern equipment or conveniences. Haven't been there for about 18 years now so the wolves may have moved in the wilderness .

Except for a couple of strays, there were no cattle in the Wilderness. The cattle were removed from the Wilderness as the government stopped cattle grazing there.
