I’m well aware of the dangers of generalizations of this type. It goes against the fiber of my being.

I’m not sure you are fully aware of the dangers of islam.

I was taught to treat others as I’d like to be treated. I will treat folks as they treat me. Show me respect, kindness, and understanding and it will be returned. Threaten me, I will minimize my exposure to the threat. ACT on that threat and I will take what ever action is necessary to protect me and mine.

We have been more than threatened by islam. We have been attacked my islam, more than once. I’m sick of trying to determine ‘good’ muslims from ‘bad’ muslims. Islam is EVIL therefore muslims are evil.

How can a ‘good’ person practice an ‘evil’ religion? If you follow the vile teachings of the koran, you are a vile person. Period.

If generalizations like "subhuman vermin" go "against every fiber of my being" then you wouldn't make them. I think there are a few fibers missing. I am completely aware of the dangers of Islam. I was taught respect the same way you were, and will react the same. I think that you would find we have far less disagreement than you may suspect. By labeling the entire religion "evil" and any practioner thereof as "vile" you condem those that are standing with us to rid their country of true evil. Would you condem the translators that aid our soldiers everyday at great personal risk? Would you condem those that have given info that aided in the mission? Would you condem the Muslims who are speaking out against the Muslim terrorists? There is alot of crazy stuff and crazy practioners in Islam to be sure. There are crazies in every religion including Christianity. Since I don't speak or read Arabic, and I'll bet you don't either, we can't know what it really says. There is still debate about the Bible. Yet I wouldn't condem all Christians as crazy because of the likes of Timothy McVey or Jim Jones.

I knew the McVey angle would come into play. He didn’t blow the building out of his religious convictions, he was fighting back against an oppressive government (it was his response to the Waco massacre). Jones was a wackjob pure and simple.

Check FR about two days ago for a story on a Muslim televangelist who is speaking out. Glenn Beck had a representative of a organization that is speaking out. There is another organization in the uppper midwest that is doing the same. You didn't know that the McVey angle would come in. You were hoping it would. But it still doesn't invalidate the point. There is evidence that he might have been working with Muslim extremeists. Islam, while a religion, is also a ideology and form of government given its' structure. (A little aside. Was McVey "subhuman vermin? Jones, while a sackjob, was no different than the Muslim terrorists. Was he subhuman vermin? The vast majority of Christians are peaceful. The vast majority of muslims are demented, violent, sub-human vermin. What constitutes a vast majority? My friends and I do support the troop rallies twice a week. There are just a few of us, whereas the Lefties have more. We know that there are alot of people who support the troops but don't participate. Does this mean that the vast majority of America is anti-war? I don't think so. It's too bad you don't have an open mind. My mind is open but cautious. I hope it doesn’t get you killed. Glad you don't know where I live or I might take this as a threat.

One of our disagreements is that you are willing to honor the words of liars while I won’t. The koran instructs muslims to spread islam via any means necessary. Lies and violence are permitted.

Again, offer some proof of your accusations. If McVeigh was working this muslims it supports my view that muslims are not to be trusted and are sub-human vermin.

What McVeigh did was wrong. What Jones did was wrong. You are comparing apples and oranges. McVeigh and Jones were individuals. The death cult known as islam is a collective which instructs and inspires millions to commit acts of unspeakable depravity.

There are many instances of other religious books teaching unacceptable things. But we must remember the time in which they were written. It is not the book that makes the religion what it is, but rather the way in which the practitioners practice what is contained therein. I didn't presume that you were hoping that the McVey angle would come in. I took it from your wording. If you think I have been annoying, you should check your posts. My statements of McVey working in concert with the Muslim terrorits is not an accusation. Your use of the word "accusation" inplies being upset. Are you? If he is would he then be subhuman vermin in your opinion, or get some kind of exemption? As for proof, I can't remember the name of the woman who did the story a few years ago, but I am sure if you do some searching.... I don't resort to crafting for my arguments. It is your opinion that Islam is not a religion. There were those in the early days of Christianity that said the same things. Somalis are why I have to roll my truck windows two inches higher than I’d prefer as I once found one trying to get to the door lock. They do run well.

It’s sad that I’d probably have given the guy what he needed, if I could, if he would have just asked. So much for Islam being a superior religion and lifestyle.

By the way: Dell caved to their demands for a “prayer room” but found their demands to disrupt the line for prayer calls totally unconducive to competitive commercial operation. Michael Dell gets points for holding the line on why Islamic-dominated nations can’t compete with sane ones. He should go one step further and refuse to employ them and illegal aliens wielding false papers.

Your damn right I’m upset. In fact, I’m angry. While 9/11/01 has faded from most folks’ memories, it burns white hot in mine. I’m upset that so many Americans are once again having to travel over seas to protect our freedom. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis and Somali’s have absolutely ruined a nice, upscale neighborhood. They’re being encouraged to rent single family homes (using HUD vouchers) that many American-born citizens can’t afford - and we’re paying for it!

I know, because two sleezy investers bought three houses on my block and converted them to rentals. Now we have three system-soaking Somali families on the block with a total of 18 kids between them. They refuse to use their attached garages in favor of leaving their rusty beat-up cars in their driveways. They don’t mow their lawns, they discard furniture in the yard, their children don’t have toys, so they play with cans, plaster bottles, sticks and whatever else they can find, which are always left in the street. Both adults and children loud, rude and inconsiderate. The adults loiter around in the street all summer long. They hang laundry from deck railings, in the trees and over bushes. All three families are using mismatched sheets as window coverings - basically it looks like a ghetto! The smell coming from the house next door to mine is unbearable - it’s a combination of body odor and the perfume they douse themselves in. It’s disguting and you can smell it a half block away!!!

Also, I’ve lived here for 20 years and I can’t recall the police ever being called, yet, since the Somali invasion, each house has had multiple visits from the police.

I don’t understand it, they don’t work, yet they’re rewarded by living in what was once a very nice neighborhood... and HUD won’t even address complaints from longtime homeowners. We’ve spoken with the landlords and we’ve tried enlisting the help of the city - no one gives a damn because these animals don’t live on their street. We’re all so disgusted and terribly worried about our property values. The idiot at HUD actually said, “If you’re not happy in your neighborhood, I suggest you move.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!

We, as homeowners, have no rights, while these undereducated Somalis are allowed to destroy our neighborhood!!! We have a nearby park that the Somalis have been allowed to take over - there were more than 200 police calls to that park in one summer!!!

It makes me sick and no one will listen!

I forget the name of the beef packing company that Tyson took over, but this may be it. When they refused a Tyson takeover offer, clinton sent a swarm of federal inspectors into their plants and knocked their stock price down, I think by about a billion dollars. Then Tyson took them over, on the cheap.

That was Hudson Foods, headquartered in Nebraska. Whether the Emporia plant is an ex-Hudson facility, I couldn't say.

Recall that Clinton not only "flooded their plants with inspectors and knocked their stock [sic] price down" (it was a family-owned company), the Ag Dept actually attributed an e coli death scare to Hudson in order to get the scam underway.

Rarely has the power of the federal government been used in such a blatent and corrupt manner to benefit a contributor.

Yes, I was speaking from memory. I just googled it, and the story was more complicated than I remembered. But there is mention of clinton’s abuse of meat inspections, and also of the Somali immigrants. Another beef producer, IBP, was involved in these complicated dealings.
