It is not the book that makes the religion what it is, but rather the way in which the practitioners practice what is contained therein. Your damn right I’m upset. In fact, I’m angry. While 9/11/01 has faded from most folks’ memories, it burns white hot in mine. I’m upset that so many Americans are once again having to travel over seas to protect our freedom. Freedom’s currency is blood and MUCH American blood has been spilled defending your right to Freedom.
You keep maintaining that ‘moral high ground’. Keep in mind that ground which seems to mean so much to you is paid for in blood. Some of that blood has been shed by close friends of mine.
