LAKE FOREST, Calif. Within days of introducing a $50 billion plan to combat AIDS, Sen. Hillary Clinton received a standing ovation at one of the nation's most influential evangelical churches after addressing its "Global Summit on AIDS and the Church." If the Democratic presidential frontrunner's aim was to make inroads into the electorate's heavily Republican evangelical community, her appearance at Saddleback Church with pastor and "The Purpose Driven Life" author Rick Warren apparently didn't hurt.

If Anyone calls this guy a "Fool" you're a Conservative!..
Rick Warren’s church......what a shocker. This guy gets more press, as if he speaks for evangelical Christians.
If anyone calls this church 'evangelical', they're deceived.
I think Warren has lost his mind.
But the congregation gave her a standing ovation - what?
Why was anyone even there, unless they were all dems.
On the subject of religion..... What do Billy Graham and the Carolina Panthers have in common?
They can both get 73000 people to stand up and shout “Jesus Christ.”
I am very suspicious of just exactly how wide a stance Rick Warren takes in rest room stalls.
I expect that with 12 months to go, Hildabeast will have promised 100% of all income will be taken by the Gubmint to fund all the promised benefits to every special interest group she panders to.....
We all may have to develop additional incomes to pay our taxes in full for her....."for the common good".
When I think of “Mega” churches, this is what comes to mind. Many churches actually feed a spirit of greed. Not good.
Luke 12
15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
"What Saddleback is doing is helping raise her profile as a legitimate presidential candidate in the eyes of evangelical Christians and I think that is a huge error," Wildmon told Reuters.
My sentiments precisely.
I’ve long been wary of him, now my fears have been proven. I’m sorry I ever bought any of his books. Just goes to show you that even someone considered better than the rest of us can become a tool of the Devil! (Particularly, a She-Devil!)
“I think Warren has lost his mind.”
No, he invented a religion just like L. Ron Hubbard and is now getting his due (lottsa money).
Does this guy ever have Republican candidates speak at his church?
I’m an evangelical and Rick Warren isn’t an evangelical, has never been one.
Rick Warren is a HUCKSTER.
And so is Hillary.
“Hillary!”
LOL!
Not a good analogy since one is “used in the wrong way”, though I know it was only a joke ;), and I feel bad for you and the Carolina P’s though!
I am former carolinian (N. Carolinian, though now I currently live in SC) my fav team is Indianapolis since I lived in IN for 8yrs or so..!!!!
