Hillary Plants Question In Republican Debate
Townhall.com ^ | November 28, 2007 | Jonathan Garthwaite

Posted on 11/29/2007 1:09:55 AM PST by Iron Munro

It turns out that Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve, who submitted a YouTube question about gays in the military, is actually a member of Hillary Clinton's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee. He's also part of a film production crew trying overturn the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

UPDATE: In the final seconds of the post-debate coverage, Anderson Cooper acknowledges that CNN messed this up and states that CNN did not know that Kerr has a position within the Clinton campaign and that had they known, they would have disclosed the association.

You cannot make this stuff up. If there is a slimeball, underhanded tactic we have not yet seen from the Clintons its only because they aren't done yet.

We still have a year before the election.

The headline for this story on Drudge is:

"BOOB TUBE: CNN DUPED BY HILLARY PLANT AT REPUBLICAN DEBATE"

CNN and MSNBC are either more incompetent than we ever dreamed or they are in the Clintons' pocket 100%. Or, more than likely, it's both.

The sad, pathetic part is, the gutless, spineless GOP and RNC will let this float by.

Unbelieveable isn’t it? After Hillary was forced on the defensive about planting questions at her town hall type meetings with “ordinary” citizens, she plants a question in the Republican debate??????????

Knowing the Clintons, they will minimize this issue. Their standard answer to everything is that it’s old news, that it’s already been discussed. So, since the issue of planting questions at debates has already been discussed, then, according to Clinton mindset, any other such incidents are also considered “old news” and being brought up by political enemies, who don’t want to deal with the real issues and talk about “a positive agenda for America!” as Hillary might say.

And why not? I fully expect they're quite busy taking notes...

You hear about the “supposed” Mitt Romney callers to voters asking if they would vote for a Mormon?

The media looked into it and asked if it was Mc Cains’ camp or some other R candidates camp.

First thing I thought probalby Hillarys camp.

COOPER: "...it would have been disclosed. Yeah, well no, it's something we should follow up on, because certainly I had not heard that, and had no knowledge of [that], nor do I think anyone here. And if so, that should have been certainly disclosed, and we would have disclosed that. I do know that he is an activist of some sort, but I had not heard that he's actually working for a campaign. If so, that would certainly be an issue that should be addressed immediately."

Cooper knew he was an activist of "some sort". The gay sort? His use of the word "actually" is telling.

Check out Michelle Malkin’s blog at:
http://michellemalkin.com/

Michelle says there were at least 4 democrat plants counting the Hillary/Gay guy.
She has details, links to videos and other supporting documentation.

Here are some excerpts from her commentary on three more:

1 - “Journey,” a.k.a. “Paperserenade,” the girl who asked an abortion question, is a declared John Edwards supporter.
You couldn’t tell from the video that CNN aired, where she’s wearing a plain shirt:
But if you click through on her YouTube profile, you see her latest video in response to the candidates’ answers. And she’s prominently wearing…her John Edwards ‘08 t-shirt:
Turns out “Journey/” “paperserenade” is also a big slobbering Anderson Cooper fan. She posted this video a month ago exulting that “Anderson Cooper said my name!” during a CNN viewer comment segment. She wrote, “Horrible video, but at least I’ve got some type of recording of this event that has made my week!:”

2 - “And another one…Brian McMurphy at SixMeatBuffet (hat tip See-Dubya) notes that David Cercone, the Pompano Beach, Florida, man who asked the question about Log Cabin Republicans, is a declared Obama supporter.”

3 - “And another one…via The Autopsy…The lead toy questioner, LeeAnn Anderson, who appears to be an ordinary mom concerned about her two children, whom she includes in her video, is a prominent Pittsburgh union activist–and aide to Leo Gerard, President of the American Steel Workers Union/John Edwards supporter.”
“If you go to the United Steelworkers YouTube page, you’ll see that Ms. Anderson’s video question is the featured video…along with a John Edwards ‘08 icon (click for full-size):”

If you go to David Cercone’s youtube page, his screen name is
‘WOPNFLA’. If you put that into Google, a user with that screen name has posted to DEMOCRATS.COM back in 2006:

I don’t want to jack this thread with Cercone but running his name through Google produced this:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/talking_point/4434093.stm

“Again, as an American who is living under the tyranny of a dubiously elected wannabe dictator, please world forgive us and know that Bush and Bolton are not representative of the majority of Americans. God help us all.
David Cercone, Fort Lauderdale, Florida”

I wonder if the same standard will be used for any new dead bodies that turn up. After all, we’ve talked about Askancide once twice.

The guy is on an advisory committee to Hillary Clinton. So what? His association should have been revealed, but his questions are just as valid as anyone else. Also, it’s one thing to say the man is associated with Hillary. It’s something totally different to say he’s a plant, i.e. specifically under orders from the Hillary campaign. I’m not saying he’s not plant. I’m only saying he isn’t necessarily a plant simply because he’s on an advisory committee.

I’m more concerned that the questioners in both debates seemed to be predominantly Democrats. In other words, the Democrat candidates got tossed a bunch of softballs, while our team got both barrels. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with putting hard questions to the candidates, but if their partisans can try to nail our guys, we deserve the same chance to query the Dems.

The dems aren't going to allow their candidates to be questioned. They all withdrew from the Fox debate fearing real questions that aren't partisan plants.

If dems are such cowards when all that is taking place is talk then why should we trust them in the White House where real serial stuff takes place?

That’s easy. We shouldn’t trust them.

The guy is on an advisory committee to Hillary Clinton. So what? His association should have been revealed, but his questions are just as valid as anyone else.

What's wrong with it is that it isn't representative of those interested in the potential candidates. None of the Republicans are yet chosen as candidate of the party. Those who will be deciding who the candidate will be should be allowed to ask questions. Doesn't seem like too many of them were. Unless you think it would be a good idea for Republican party operatives to question the dem candidates during their debate. That didn't happen, either.

I accuse CNN of planting all the questions in every debate they host. Maybe I'm wrong. But I doubt it. There's a great deal of difference between being questioned by a defense attorney and a prosecuting attorney. The way politics is, today, is just that acrimonious.

Of course CNN would have disclosed it, and Harpy thought BJ was giving Monica counseling.

If CNN knew that he worked for the Clinton Chinese Mafia why would he ever be allowed to axe a question in the first place. Let alone that question. They should never be allowed to give another debate.

Pray for W and Our Troops
