Big blip on Drudge.
*****UPDATE******
It turns out that Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve, who submitted a YouTube question about gays in the military, is actually a member of Hillary Clinton's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee. He's also part of a film production crew trying overturn the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
UPDATE: In the final seconds of the post-debate coverage, Anderson Cooper acknowledges that CNN messed this up and states that CNN did not know that Kerr has a position within the Clinton campaign and that had they known, they would have disclosed the association.
Don't ask, don't tell.
You are correct. The questions were selected in order to divide the GOP. Half an hour on illegal immigration, an appreciable amount on gun rights, then abortion, gays in the military, confederate flag, two ridiculous religion questions, etc. How about that Muslim woman asking about repairing America’s reputation abroad?
The second point of the questions was to make the GOP base look like a bunch of nut-case losers.
I fail to see any advantage to any GOP candidate (except maybe Ron Paul) in appearing in this fiasco.
Absolutely right on! Now, will the pantywaists in the party go for this? I doubt it.
Fish, you are bringing me ‘round to your pessimistic view of the party leadership! LOL!
This should be the stance of the RNC and the Republican candidates. But it will not happen ... they don't have the gonads ... witness the response of Mitt Romney on Fox this morning:
Responding to a question about the gay rights general being a plant and demoRat opperative - "Oh it does not bother me" (I paraphrased Romney's answer).
NO GONADS ... NO OUTRAGE ... NO PROBLEM
Of course CNN arranged it.
I'm glad this was on CNN. They lost more than they gained.
I have to agree with you, Red_Devil. CNN doesn’t have THAT many viewers, and most of them are democrats, anyway. The GOP could gather a lot of support for going after CNN on this, especially since there was more than one plant. It is a disservice to the viewers, too, as it gives a false picture of which issues the electorate think are important (hardly any mention of national security or the war on terror, I noticed).
I would fully support the GOP refusing to do any more business with CNN on anything, and that includes interviews on Larry King.
Hey AB.
I ain’t bringing you around to nothing.
Cause you know I’m right.
There’s just no excuse for it and unless somebody takes a stand it will go on.
And passionate folks like you and I will simmer in our anger.
Maybe Rush will calm me down. Maybe if he “softly” suggests that the GOP take a stand on this...well maybe, just maybe.
Colonel Keith Kerr, Brokeback ‘General’ in charge of the 1st Turd Burgling Division and the Bone Smuggling Special Services.
Do you think Glenn Beck will mention this on his show, especially after he gave such a gushing interview to Anderson Cooper yesterday?
I like Glenn-don’t get me wrong—but I think he’s too afraid of his own network to say anything.
General Swish lied on his enlistment contract forms concerning his homosexuality. A military retiree can still be tried for crimes committed while serving on active duty.

The concept of your debates in the US is faulty. The audience of “regular folks” asking these hard-boiled premier league politicians questions is ridiculous. These people are simply decoration. The questions they ask have to be either uninformed or rigged. I find this show absolutely off-putting.
Morning Don-0,
I agree with you on McBlame, his “elevator does not go all the way top the top.” One other point Mcblame, was a POW in the Hanio Hilton and through his duration of captvity lost only a few pounds.
Mcblame’s father was a Senator at the time and maybe Macyblame got a little preferential treatment while in captivity.
Sometimes this was hero is a creation like jfk and PT-109, Jfk was intoxicated when the Japanese destroyer cut his PT Boat in half. Jfk should have been court martialed for drunk on duty/dereliction duty/conduct/unbecoming of an officer.
Papa Joe called in some blue chip favors and Jfk went from a real zero to an alleged war hero.
Mcblame sold us out on the immigration issue and needs to resign his seat in the senate.
Respectfully,
NSNR
Yeah, I did. So far it’s an excellent book. I am about half through and loving it. I went back to Drudge to post that article then seen the Dems being Dems by planting questions and posted that instead.
Can’t say that I was too shocked to learn this waking up today! I want to see the Dems debate turn out like last night’s GOP one did. Ask those libs the same round of questions our candidates had to answer....bet they won’t!
I agree with you. Dunc’s reply was brilliant! :)
I noticed that too.
