The best response to that joke with that retired general would be...TODAY...for the national Republican party to come out with a statement that because of this incident, the party is going to decline any more debates on CNN.

This should be the stance of the RNC and the Republican candidates. But it will not happen ... they don't have the gonads ... witness the response of Mitt Romney on Fox this morning:

Responding to a question about the gay rights general being a plant and demoRat opperative - "Oh it does not bother me" (I paraphrased Romney's answer).

NO GONADS ... NO OUTRAGE ... NO PROBLEM

I have to agree with you, Red_Devil. CNN doesn’t have THAT many viewers, and most of them are democrats, anyway. The GOP could gather a lot of support for going after CNN on this, especially since there was more than one plant. It is a disservice to the viewers, too, as it gives a false picture of which issues the electorate think are important (hardly any mention of national security or the war on terror, I noticed).

I would fully support the GOP refusing to do any more business with CNN on anything, and that includes interviews on Larry King.
