Polar bears, women, and children will bear the brunt of this. Minorities too.

5.d under a city will cause a few broken dishes and cracked sidewalks. I wouldn’t want to be in an igloo for one though.

Do you have a link to a site that keeps stats on earthquakes? Seems to me there have been an inordinate number recently?

Nothing in the Alaska Daily News so hopefully no damage done.

I felt it but it wasn’t much. And I’m closer to it than Anchorage is.

Been thgrough a few earthquakes, depends on where you are on how much effect you feel. I remember a 5.5 that woke me up right away but took the wife at the time a little longer. She asked me why the cattle were running through the house. Swore later that she had heard a stampede through the hallway into the living room.

I used to live in LA and SF,...5.2, that’s a wussy quake. Nothing to see here, move along.

About 80 miles away. I felt it. Shook my wobbly computer desk for a little bit. My wife upstairs and my son walking outside didn’t feel it, but my wife is notorious for never feeling earthquakes unless they’re really big.

Glad to hear it. Not a big one but you never know...one place will be fine and down the road everything off the shelves.

Noticed nothing here. A big red fox came by earlier, which upset the dog, but that’s about it for excitement today.
