The Democratic National Committee plans to announce Wednesday night that it has canceled the final presidential debate in its fall series because of a potential writers strike at CBS News, a sponsor of the debate.
[snip]
[snip]....Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) was the first candidate to say she would not participate if CBS were the target of a strike, which could be seen as crossing a picket line. Other candidates followed suit.
"CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric was to be the moderator.

The Perky One is done in by The Witch.
Predicted here on FR. Hillary doesn’t want any more debates, not even sycophant debates. The more people see of her, the less they like her. No more live appearances.

Since when are writers needed for debates?
Since they all have become scripted, at least on the demonrat side.

This says it is a “potential” strike, so there is not actually a strike.
Don’t people usually wait until it actually occurs?

Its probably an issue of not wanting to cross the picket line.

Writers? The candidates need writers? Oh, the questioner needs a writer. You mean Perky Katie couldn’t gin up a few questions based on the news she reads to us every day? OK, come up with questions AND not sound like a light weight fool. And cancel because the writers MIGHT go on strike and the candidates MIGHT have to cross a picket line? Quick, candidate, the air traffic controllers go on strike and are picketing around the White House. Do you A) hunker down inside, cowering in the corner B) sneak out through the Kennedy exit? C) Ask the Secret Service to shoot them D) Tell them to get back to work or you’ll fire the whole lot of them?

So, why don’t they change the venue to where the picket line isn’t?

So blatantly obvious. She can grant an ‘interview’ but won’t cross a picket line for a debate. It’s a damn shame that so many in this country will never even question this action. Frightening.

This just shows and reminds the moderate American voter that Democrats bow and cave to unions and strikers. This is a good thing for us conservatives. It reminds those that have forgotten the Dems don’t have gonads. Of course to some of us there is daily reasons that remind us of what we already know, but sadly some need a whack over the head.

Dumbocrats are showing solidarity with their communistic friends, the unions. Piss on them, I didn’t want to hear a bunch of crap on the news about the rat debate anyway.

Excellent point. All they have to do is scream fire and the Dems run out and cancel work for a year.

How is Bully Hillary going to deal with HEADS of STATE DICTATORS if she can't deal with some WRITER's STRIKE!!
If she had been President back when the Air Controller's went on strike, we wouldn't be flying today at all!
