Listening to this wanker (Paul) is like hearing a piano play one note.

I would agree. Both delivery wise and policy wise, Hunter, Thompson and Tancredo were indeed the best tonight. At least as heard on CNN Radio, they sounded good. I think Mitt and Rudy had some major flubs. And Ron Paul, as usual, the classic nutcase.

Rudy is not my choice for president either. You need to take a remedial reading course apparently.

If you want to argue against Rudy, then use facts when you do it and don’t spit on the victims of 9/11 in the process.

“Lawn Guyland”... how cute.

You’re saying that Alan Keyes was excluded from the debate because they’re all a bunch of racists?

Nope—I don’t agree.

I don’t know who is winning, but Rudy and McCain are losing. Just MHO.

Oh come on. Mitt did fine!

I don't think so. He's had a fairly bad night. Part of the time he's stalled badly on giving answers, the other part of the time he comes across as plastic.

“People who belittle Rudy vis-a-vis 9/11 also diminish those who were murdered that day. My husband lost a friend, and a friend of mine lost a son-in-law. Anti-Rudy know-nothings trying to turn people against him is one thing, but in the process they are spitting on the victims of that horrible day.”

Wrong. Rudy has exploited 9-11 for his own benefit, as if all the people who died on that horrible day did so just so he could run for office. The people who died on 9-11 have absolutely NOTHING to do with Rudy Giuliani, outside of the fact that HIS placing of the Emergency Command Center in the Trade Center probably caused even more deaths than there may have otherwise been.

I’m glad you are getting to see this. Every 5 minutes our local affiliate goes to a local news update. As soon as a question is asked they go off to local news, before the answer. We turned it off. The local news is canned news from 3 hours ago. Then after that they go to commercial. We never hear the answers to the questions.

We turned this off. Maybe CSPAN will pick it up for replay. The wife is furious. Me I could care less, politicians are the same on both sides of the aisle as far as I am concerned nowadays.

That General who just asked about Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is a member of Hillary Clinton’s Gay Steering Committee.
Doesn’t CNN bother to even google these people?

He is on her steering team. Go here. You'll see his name: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=2196

Don't tell that to the folks on this site who think that the Army of Treason that LOST THE WAR were "noble Americans."

(He says as he puts on the flame retardant suit). :-)

I love stirring trouble. Apparently, so does Mitt...

Paul on the spot, no independent run for him.

Fair enough.

eyedigress wrote: That flag represented the Confederate Army. Read a Book (hey, I didn’t bring it to the debate)

The Confederate Flag represents no one , and hasn't in 142 years something years, therefore that flag is irrelevant to a Presidential Debate in 2007

“not the radical change that is needed. That’s the difference.

Realistically that will not happen and you know it, no matter how much you may want it.
