Repeat after me...”You can lead a liberal to truth, but you can’t make them think.”

It appears the speaker is wearing Army paratroop wings on his lapel. Anyone know the story behind that?

I read it somewhere a few months ago ... and now I have no idea where I saw it or who wrote or said it ...
I have been posting it when it seems appropriate.

Liberals don’t think. They emote about how wonderful it is to kill babies.

Evan says liberals are unable to discriminate beyond what they learned at age five because part of the process is to tell them they must be indiscriminate.
I would go a step farther.
By rejecting God, they develop a God complex.
By rejecting God and believing THEY can bring about Utopia on earth they replace what we all know.
If there is Utopia on earth, there is no need for Heaven.
Yet they believe in Utopia on earth.
It cannot be brought about, Unless...they believe they are as powerful as God.
That idea rattles them, so they reject it, and worship the Earth...goddess giaha(sp) problem solved! They are spiritual and they care! and they have a heaven

I’ve had more enlightening conversations with wall paint than I have had with a liberal.

Pretty good talk except for one thing he said that I wish our folks would stop saying: "Scientists can't predict the weather 3 days from now, let alone 50 years down the road".
The scientists are not trying to predict the weather 50 years from now. They are trying to predict the climate. Big difference there. The comment makes the speaker seem ignorant of the difference.

No... The fact that climate cant be predicted 50 years out is the point.
Forecasters use computerized spaghetti models trying to pinpoint a years worth of weather but they cant do it.
Witness this years hurricane predictions.
I know lots of smart weather/stormchaser types and this stuff is impossible to predict that far out

WOW! Talk about hitting the nail on the head! That is easily the most concise explanation for the dementia that is Liberalism that I have ever heard. I’ve book marked the page for dissemination to anyone I can get to watch it.

Whether or not climate is predictable 50 years hence is not the point. The point is that it does not follow that the inability to predict the weather in 3 days advance means predicting climate in 50 years is therefore not feasible. To make that comparison sounds like the speaker doesn't know the difference between climate and weather. I'd rather hear something like "They can't even predict the climate for 25 years down the road, let alone 50 years." Or to look at it another way: Predict your local weather 3 days from now. Will it rain or not? What will the temp be? Shear guess work? Now predict the climate for your area next winter. What will be the range in temperature? About how much snow, rain? I would bet you can get pretty close. thats the difference I'm trying to point out.
