We also tried to make one. We called it the Avrocar. It was very complicated and didnt go very far though

They also had a “Space shuttle” type vehicle on the drawing boards, launched by rail/rocket for bombing North American targets from a barely sub orbital altitude........

The Nazis spent so much time, money, manpower and raw materials on goofy sci-fi stuff that they hurt their production of regular armaments. A lot of their drawing board stuff didn’t come to fruition for decades after the war, and a lot of their research is still being used.
