Happy Thanksgiving, snugs!!!
We are thankful for the friendship of the U.K. It is very important to us.
I have a new recipe for a two potato gratin that we had today which was easy and delicious. I wish I could do pictures the way you can do.

Your potato gratin sounds interesting. Dad loves potato like many people of his age in Britain root vegetables and in particular potato are a very big part of their daily diet.
I suspect your 2 potato recipe will have sweet potato in it which I have recently introduced dad to and he will eat it though of course he is more familiar with the normal potato.
Dad comes from the era in Britain where every meal you had potato in one form or another be it mash, roast, baked or just boiled.

My favorite recipe today was sweet ‘tators.
From a can - added crushed pineapple, brown sugar, marshmellows and lemon/orange zest. Yumalumadingdong!
