Translation: Chirac is in deep trouble. Arkancide is needed to save him.

"But she's strong and she has convictions"

Convictions? Heck, she's never even been indicted.

Chirac must be in deeper than the press is letting on!

I understand he is being prosecuted for fraud when he was in office as mayor of Paris.

des merde

The last thing Clinton needs is an endorsement from anyone associated with Chirac.

“U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won surprise backing from the wife of former French President Jacques Chirac on Thursday, together with a pledge to join her on the campaign trail.”

The wife of a French crook endorsing another crook for President of the United States, it’s fitting.

One unindicted co-conspirator endorsing another un-indicted co-conspirator.

Looks like Jacques might be needing a pardon soon, and seein’ as the Clinton’s have a lot of experience in that area,

I was thinking the same thing. Birds of a feather kinda thing.

“She’s a woman who is not liked by everybody”

“...smiling person who never lets herself be caught...”

I’m seeing slogans for Hillary’s campaign posters!

Look what I found from 2003:

This just in from la belle France

T he Hillary has her first foreign endorsement. Clinton's disavowal, in what looks like a bad translation from what she said into French and back into English, is that "I don't have the intention to run" for President. Uh-huh.

It is refreshing to know that, if she should grace us with the pleasure of a run for the Presidency in 2008, she will at least have the grateful and gracious support of the Mme Chirac. From an AP story as carried by the Guardian: (snip)
