Today, (Nov. 22) it has been six months since I became a member of Free Republic.

I have embarassed myself, made a fool of myself, laughed with you all, cried with you. I have learned a lot in six months.

Each one of you have touched my heart - in one way or another. But you have all left a permanent mark on my life.

Today, this Thanksgiving, I must say that I am thankful for the friendships, kindness, straight forwardness, scolding, honesty and love that you all have shared, even if you didn’t know it.

May you all feel the warm, tingly, joyful love today - from those you share this holiday with - both online and off.

I have to admit, I’ve enjoyed your first six months immensely. You jumped right in and contributed right away; you weren’t afraid to voice your opinions or add your personal knowledge to discussions. That’s what we’re all about!
