Sounds like typical CNN BS to me.

Yeah, it’s Fred’s almost life like appearance that’s bringing him down again.

It’s Rudy or Romney, because McCain has pissed off too many Republicans over the years (Hay maverick boy, where are your pals in the media now?) and Fred appears to be chryogenically frozen. I mean, fire in the belly? I’d settle for him having a mild case of heartburn.

Ditto! and I am speachless too...as another FReeper typed.

Can't argue, besides I do not get paid to argue.

Kevmo, I am not sure why you simply can’t understand the truth. It has been told you numerous times. If Thompson shows badly in a poll, it was a bogus poll. If the poll isn’t bogus then the whole state is just a bunch of Democrats or losers or whatever. This is why Fred finds himself relegated to the back of the pack in Iowa and NH.

I think those of us who were paying attention knew this was going to happen. Huckabee is showing well in Iowa and that will make him competitive in the South. Romney has a front-loaded strategy and Huckabee is minimizing his boost if he even wins Iowa now. I see Fred and Romney as done. McCain is a wildcard. The Huckabee and Julie-annie relationship is so wonderfully symbiotic it makes one wonder if that was not the strategy all a long. It looks like conservatives are set to be the losers in all of this. It doesn’t appear the GOP cares, we shall see.

That’s almost as far left as Taxachusetts.

Most of the DEMS there probably think Hillary! is RIGHT WING!

>>Did CNN/WMUR just make up these numbers? I find it very hard to believe that half of all Republicans “would not support him under any circumstances.”<<

I’m leaning toward Fred.

But one of my concerns is I don’t enough of what Fred would do.

And I read a lot more than the average voter. I simply don’t believe they know enough about Fred to have said this. Thus I question the integrity of the poll.

This poll is different. It just strains credibility for 50% to object so strongly to a relatively unknown quantity.

Yes.

Like all polls, the odds a political poll (especially an internet poll) is accurate is about the same as being dealt a royal flush 4 times in a row..

For our own sanity, why don’t we wait until the primaries before we all get into poll fever. They are pointless as everyone lies about one thing or the other, like who they are going to vote for or whether they are democrats or decent human beings.

Remember the ‘04 exit polls? Yea. Smells the same. Let’s not fill that dance card.

Sounds like a crock but if indeed this is true, Thompson’s numbers will rise when more people find out his federalist stances.

I would sure like to see this happen. We have been hearing this from Fredheads for weeks and weeks and weeks. Well we have about five weeks left...still waiting.

This is why small insignificant New England states shouldn’t be the first to open ther polls.

And who do you suppose should go first? Nevada? Delaware? New Jersey? Don’t think it will be some big state.

Yesterday Rassmusen had Fred at a 21% nationwide a statistical tie for 1st with Rooty

Well that would be great if it was a one day primary, but you have to work with the system. Being in first place even though it is a stretch because you are using statistical instead of actual does not matter.

If the NY’ers or Massachusetts crowd takes the Republicans party away from the South, conservatism will be kaput!

Oh please. If conservatives stop looking to the south as their savior and start working on other states than conservativism will survive. If we look at 10 states and ignore the others (which we do) than eventually we will not have any states at all. OK I suppose will will always have Alabama. lol.

Yeah, well, the Republican ‘leaders’ in the New Hampshire primary apparatus got their knickers in a twist when Fred didn’t come up immediately, and often, to kiss their rings, so they’ve likely been trashing him when they got the chance.

The feedback from the stump is generally disappointment. He arrives late, makes a short desultory speech, and tends to leave immediately. He doesn't give the impression that he enjoys campaigning

Don't know to whom you've been listening, but I 've read reports from some Freepers who've said exactly the opposite about Fred's appearances.
