I sentence both of you to read the first few chapters of C.S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man with particular attention to his discussion of The Green Book.

Just reread it Saturday night, oddly enough. One of my all time favorites. My point was that Plato's view of education was that it should teach the good and virtuous to the kids. He had no negative view of teaching morality to kids as indoctrination. Lewis' point of Men without Chests falls in the same vein.
