I agree it would be a good city car, but I live in the land of the F350 and won’t go smaller than my Nissan Frontier (4 cyl, 2WD gets 32-33 mpg)

I must admit though I DESPISE SUV’s! (since 90%+ of the people who own them have no actual need for a 4x4 truck-sized vehicle)
Exactly right. I wouldn’t own one for a commute of any distance, but running around town, you better believe I’d own one. Why not? I think it would be a blast to tool around in.
It's fun until you hit an 8ft tall lamppost on the sidewalk...seen it happen in city traffic over here in Europe...tore the whole front end off of the smartcar...the driver and passenger were hurt pretty bad....hit something at 30 "clicks" per hour and the odds are you're gonna end up dead...
