O Great Merciful God,

You are the Creator of all, of the heavens and the earth, the Creator of calms as well as storms. You alone, are worthy of praise and you allow your servants the privilege to utter both our praises and our concerns before you. Happy are we who lift our voices to praise your name!

Now, O Lord of Perfect Majesty, I call unto you for your kind consideration. Not that we are deserving of your thoughtfulness, but because you are a merciful God. I humbly bring this petition before you as I know you control the winds of the heavens, that you control the paths of storms and the tides of the seas. You heal the infirmed and raise the Dead and bring strength to the weary. Now, O Lord, I plead that you consider this afflicted one, I plead with the hope you may find it pleasing to lengthen the days of your servant so that all may see you are mighty among your people, that we may stand amazed at your wonderful works, and that we may glorify your name as our Creator, our God.

I plead this cause before you, not because of any worthiness found among men, but because you are always righteous in your judgements and yet merciful in your dealings with those who call upon your most holy name. Help us, O Lord, only to seek your precious will for our lives and your servants will be satisfied.

I plead as your humble servant, hidden in Christ my Lord.

Alex is ill. Touch him, I beseech Thee,
with the healing grace of Jesus Christ and make him well.
You gave him life and You have the power to renew his life.
We put him in Your kindly and loving hands, knowing that no harm can come to him while in Your care,
whether on earth or in heaven.
I believe in Thy power to heal the sick. Through faith, the
tremendous healing force of God the Creator re-creates.
I hold this loved one up to Thee and humbly ask that You will
lay Your hands upon him and restore him, even as
You did to those about whom we read in the Bible.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, and
You, Dear Lord, can give new health and strength to our dear one.
This we humbly and earnestly request in Jesus’ holy name.
